We really appreciated the fact that someone was there to greet us and show us the apartment. Maya answered our questions very rapidly when we wrote to her. The apartment is in the center of old Porto. The location could hardly be better. The neighborhood is old but the apartment itself has been extensively renovated. We loved it. We were there on June 24 and the restaurant downstairs played music until late at night, but it was to be expected because that day (St. John the Baptist) is the big day of the year in Porto. It was hard for us to sleep that night, but the other nights were fine.

It was really good! Maybe if one thing could be improved, it would only be to have a larger sheet on the sofa bed, so that it can stay in place during the night. But that is very minor. We highly recommend the place.

Perfect location, just at the corner of Torre dos Clérigos, everything is at working distance: major sights, plenty of restaurants and bars just at the corner, the stop of historical Tram 18 that brings you to Foz do Douro beaches. A very spacious room, nicely decorated with a beautiful balcony and huge patio style windows, exactly as on the photos provided. We dropped our luggage at 11 am and could check in at 2 pm as our room was ready. Pefect place to stay in Porto, we highly recommend :)

WiFi was not always stable, everything else was perfect :)

Excellent location in Porto. Close to shops, bakeries, cafes and bars. We rented 2 suites. Apartments were very roomy for 2 people. One suite was facing the road with wall to wall windows and had one window that opened and the other was facing the backs of buildings and had a door to a very narrow balcony. Nice to get some fresh air. Beds were super comfortable and both rooms had pull out hide-a-beds. Very friendly staff that kept the place(s) spotless. Both had kitchens that were minimally stocked with wine glasses, cups, bowls, plates, etc. 2 burner stove with small oven and full size fridge. Bathroom was nice but shower was slow to drain so we had to roll up a towel to stop the overflow onto the floor. Had a small elevator and recycling bins on the main floor.

Note that the apartment facing the road was very noisy on the weekends so if that bothers you, ask for an apartment facing the back. Ours was pretty quiet. Also, the dining chairs in one apartment were very uncomfortable and probably should be replaced.

Maya was super helpful with the checking process - I was able to store my bags in between checkout of my last place and checkin here (which was at 3PM). Then she let me store my bags after my stay until my train arrived which was super helpful. The property was in a great location, about a block from nightlife (but it's not noisy), a block from Liveria Lello, a couple of blocks from the train station and tons of food within walking distance. The room was larger than I thought it would be, the bed was comfy, there was a nice view and the bathroom was large. Overall would stay here again!

The apartment was ideally located in the heart of Porto less than 5 minutes walk from Torre dos Clerigos. Our room was very spacious with plenty of seating space, a large bed, and good kitchen facilities. The hosts were very responsive to our messages and we appreciated that they allowed us to store our luggage at the property after our check out.

Our main suggestion for improvement would be that the air conditioning unit in the apartment needs to be replaced. The unit on the wall did not appear to be working, and while the apartment does have a standalone portable unit, it is not as effective at cooling the apartment and was very noisy at night.

Be Oporto Apartments is within the old city of Porto which makes it very easy to explore Porto by foot. We decided to walk about 500 meters to the accommodation from the parkinglot where we parked our car, but taxi's, Uber and public transport is available everywhere. Once you are inside Be Oporto you have to climb one flight of stairs to get to reception. A young woman gave us the codes and explained how to get inside and out of the accommodation. It worked well, because no keys was involved. It is situated very near the Clerigos Tower, an easy landmark for navigating back to the apartment. The accommodation had everything as described on the amenities list.

There is just a little sign outside the apartments that gives one the idea where the apartments are. So make sure you look out for it.

Fantastic location in the heart of Porto and very spacious. The balcony is almost like a terrace! There are many options for restaurants and minimarkets nearby as well as busses and metro's. WIFI is good, staff is professional and friendly and your room get's cleaned everyday. The rest of the complex is also impeccable. The amenities in the kitchen are as far as I van tell plenty sufficient but we did not cook, we did enjoy our morning coffee on the wonderful balcony/terrace! It was a very nice location to start our Portugal roadtrip, makes you feel at home!

Both my husband and I were not a fan of the beds, I think they need replacing, at least in the apartment we had. They are very hard and you can feel the springs a little in some places. For a few days it should be fine. Also the shower floor leaked and they tried to fix it bit it looks weird and doesn't work. All in all, certainly not a dealbreaker, had a wonderful stay but the, for us, uncomfortable bed is worth mentioning to fellow travellers.

The location is in the central porto downtown, near the city hall…close to all the famous spots. The lady is very nice, there is storage room, you could store you arrive early or late. The room is big, kitchen has all the necessity. The price is also reasonable. I will recommend this place to my friend.

The bathroom sink is a bit small, has to be careful when use the sink.

The location could not be better. It is near to the nightlife district but the street is fairly quiet. Our apartment was at the top floor and had a lovely balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money. I would definitely stay again.

The apartment was conveniently located just down the street from the famous Clérigos Church and 15 minutes walk to the train station. The apartment has a balcony with a large glass door. The location was very quiet, ,comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. An elevator is available, but it is only to fit 3 people. We enjoyed our stay. I recommend this to stay in Porto.
