I stayed at the hotel in November 2024. The hotel has excellent and attentive staff. I would especially like to highlight the receptionists, who have an excellent command of English and perfect pronunciation. The room was cleaned daily, and everything was spotlessly clean! The furniture was slightly worn, but the air conditioning worked perfectly in all modes, including heating. Breakfast was included in the stay. While there wasn’t much daily variety, the food was of high quality and very tasty. I traveled around Portugal by car, and the hotel conveniently offers free parking. It’s a great base for exploring both the center and northern parts of the country.

Unfortunately, the evening restaurant was a big disappointment. One time, they served me nearly raw meat (yes, red meat that was tough to cut and had no juices). When I showed it to the waiter, he shrugged and said, “Yeah, I see, sorry,” but they didn’t replace it or remove it from the bill! Another time, I ordered a national dish—Francesinha. It was poorly prepared and tasted awful. If you try this dish in Porto, you’ll realize that the hotel simply doesn’t know how to make it!

Was more than we were expecting. Large room/suite. Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy walk to beach (9mins) and close to large shopping.

Hotel was nice and clean, rooms with nice balconies. Restaurant very good. Staff very friendly especially in restaurant and bar. Nice pool outside.

Smoking policy, people have been allowed to smoke on balconies. We have smoking guests on balcony below and on the side. We can’t seat at our balcony because all cigarettes smoke come to our balcony and room. Therefore we have to close our sliding doors to stop smoke coming to the room.

spacious rooms, with a big balcony. We had the ocean view which was excellent. The bathroom was very big and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. The swimming ppol was also very nice, with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The hotel is a few minutes walk from a big supermarket and in a few minutes more you can reach the beach. Esoinho town is also close by. The train station is at a 20 min walk (with a train to Porto).

The hotel was in the best place for our purposes to walk about Espinho. Breakfast was plenty and really good. We also had really lovely food at the Hotel restaurant. The ladies at the reception were amazing and super helpful. We really loved our stay.

Unfortunately the gym was out of order during our stay.

1. There is a road in front the the hotel, whenever car passing by, you hear it 2. A little far from the train station, something half hour walk.

One of the things that immediately caught my attention is the room size. Its very big. Even with a sofa-bed installed it seems to have space for kids to play. The breakfast was nice and fresh. Also the staff was always polite and with a smile on their faces. I recommend it.

If I need to say something "negative" is the room isolation is not that good. You can hear everything. Also the Hotel needs an upgrade on its facilities. You have parts in the room that are in need of a paint job and other minor fixes.

Good hotel location - only a short walk down to the town. We had a sea and pool view from room which had a massive very comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good for lunch. Complimentary welcome drink was a nice touch (soft drinks only!). Pool is nice to have especially when the sea is a bit too wavy for swimming safely. There's a big supermarket very close by.

The hotel decor is a bit dated and very lavender! Not much character to it but it's great value.

Great staff and very friendly. Great advices on where to dine downtown. Due to last minute change in meetings I had to leave early but wanted to stay on for an extra day. In my hasty departure I left a pair of pants in the closet in the room. reception contacted me later and arranged to forward them to me in Ireland at no charge. That's what I call great service.

Hotel was further from downtown that I thought but taxis were cheap.

Breakfast could be a little more complete for people who have lactose and gluten intolerance...Like more options. Glasses, cups, and a water boiler should be available at the rooms. There is a refrigerator, but if there are no accessories, then there is not much use to it! Just feedback
