Full 10! Great memories. Hospitable host - Antonio. It is also worth visiting his restaurant at Rua 4. Indeed comfortable bed. Nice service, fresh and clean room. Generally no problems and no complains at all. Air conditioning in every room, cleaning as in a good hotel. Small fridge in the room helps a lot. The location itself is convenient, between the busy center of Espinho and the beach, close to every corner. you just go out of the room into the corridor, open the door and there is the ocean. wide sandy beach, safe (guarded) and not crowded (September). Refreshing water, it is not the same as in Spain or Algarve, but it allows you to cool down when the heat comes. Also a convenient place for surfers, there are even a few specialized schools. Wide sandy beach with a lot of diffrent shells to see.

Maybe more clothes hangers would be useful, but that's a minor issue

Location, location, location, MyCasa has it all, beach-front location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, short walk to train station with frequent trains to Porto and Lisbon, lots of parking on nearby streets. The property is a street-house, recently refurbished to a very high standard with clever design to make use of every inch of space. Our ensuite room was very comfortable and immaculately presented, with flat screen TV, aircon and chique pristine feel, communal kitchen and lounge area were well equipped, check-in was easy, Antonio the owner went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Espinho, we ate at his nearby restaurant, food and service were fabulous and very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend MyCasa and would definitely return to stay here

Clean and comfortable room in a fantastic location. Shared kitchen available to use to make simple meals (no full on cooking). Situated right on the promenade, close to everything you need and the train station. Antonio spoke perfect English and gave us great recommendations for things to do and his myCasa restaurant also serves delicious food with great service.

The walls are a bit thin which could be an issue if the other guests are noisy. It didn't bother us much. All in all great value and a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

The location was great and the 'girls' kept the place super clean. If you drive around a bit you can get free parking, so that was a bonus. The shared kitchen was very important as there were no tea etc facilities in the bedroom I had. For a short stay the room size would be fine and i am aware that there were bigger rooms. Really super that they allow pets, thank you.

We stayed there for the Cinanima Animation Film Festival. So we used myCasa mostly for sleeping and breakfast. The facility has a kitchen, but cooking is not possible there to not disturb the other guests. Nevertheless breakfast is possible and around are many snacks and restaurants. The room was as described, WiFi and TV worked perfectly. Cleaning was done every day; however, we were able to agree without any problems that cleaning was not necessary every day. So the contact with the owner and the staff was great.

We loved everything about our stay so much that we will return one day for sure. The host Antonio was exceptional. He gave us the best room he had which was a very nice upgrade. He explained everything very well and he helped us with a motorbike problem. The room was excellent and looked onto the beach. Very comfortable and clean. The shower was excellent and the overall facilities are excellent. We will book the same room next time

Having to leave Espinho

It was a beach front guesthouse. Quite comfy beds: on the first day I woke up thinking I was sleeping at home. Good shower, smart TV and nice staff.

I wish there was a way of having the power outlet close to the room desk: I could not plug in my laptop because there was no power outlet nearby; I also think that the room desk could be a little bit larger... I had to use the kitchen table for working.

I could not recommend "My Casa" enough to other travellers staying in Espinho. The location cannot be beat: close to everything (walking distance) and on the beach front. The check-in was simple, with everything explained by the impeccable owner. I stayed in the Gold room - The room was extremely accommodating, with everything you might need. The wifi was very fast and the room had a large flat screen TV (smart - with Netflix available). The bed was extremely comfortable!! There was a skylight which opens for extra air flow, with a blind/blackout for those who don't like to wake up to natural light (I personally do), and a large window facing the ocean (also with blackout). The common guest kitchen was a nice touch, and there was even a smoking area (with a TV may I add). The owners cat was adorable and extremely friendly, and was great company in the common areas. Nothing but praise - I can wholeheartedly highly recommend!

My only regret was not staying longer.

Antonio the host met me upon arrival and he was very gracious and friendly, he told me about things nearby like restaurants, stores and where I had an appointment the next day. He gave me a tour of the facilities and explained how things in my room work. It is clean, it is cute, it is comfortable, and it's beachfront, and it's an excellent value. I'll be back, and, I'm recommending myCasa to friends.

This is one of the best stays we've had in our many years of travel. The hotel owner, Antonio, greets you with a very kind, thoughtful, and thorough tour of the hotel and facilities (As a side note, he also runs the restaurant on the corner- we couldn't do it but heard amazing things from fellow travelers). Something that really blew us away was the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the facility. Truly deep clean in every way you can think of and the furnishings were top notch stuff from the mattress to the bedding to the soap even! It is literally right on the sea and super easy to find and walk to anything you need. That being said, tons of free, easily accessible parking all around. Furthermore, for those of us still covid cautious, there are open windows all across the facility as well as multiple places in the hallway ceiling, that allowed for excellent air circulation throughout (we visited during good weather in summer, not sure if this always applies). On that note, the same applies in the rooms, which also allows for excellent ventilation. We still n95 everywhere and the owner and staff were unfazed by this (which was super refreshing) as well as having our own air purifier that we ran in the room for a while before going in for good. If you have to travel during covid, this is as good as it can possibly get. All in all, we cannot wait to come back and even if just a chance to experience some amazing hospitality in meeting the wonderful one of a kind Antonio, hurry up and book a room (but please leave one for us too!) :)
