The hotel is located close just 10 minutes away from Ponte de Lima, a gorgeous village in Portugal. It has a nice swimming pool and outside area, plus a good breakfast. The staff were lovely.

The shower wasn't great - not enough pressure, the water was barely warm and the temperature fluctuated a lot. The room has a glass door and windows to the corridor, if you want privacy you'll have to close the curtains and then you will have no natural light. The room was too hot during the night, despite it being cold outside, but we couldn't open the windows or door. The air conditioning was way too cold even in the highest temperature and lowest power setting.

The double bed room we stayed at 104 had plenty of space good sound proof and a large bathroom. It looked great.

SIMPLY EXCEPTIONAL !!! From the moment I arrived and was greeted by Maria, I knew I was in for an amazing quality experience and I certainly was not disappointed. Everything about this unique property is inspirational! From Maria's warm and friendly welcome and introductory tour of the property, the attention to comfort (the bed was so comfortable) to the luxurious decor, immaculate bathroom, the lounges and library, botanic grounds, delicious breakfast selections and the many 6 Star facilities. I felt as though I was staying in a Grand Singaporean Manor House. If you appreciate luxury and happen to be in the area of Ponte de Lima, Northern Portugal, you simply MUST try the wonderful experience of staying here. Yes, it is a small distance away from Ponte de Lima but the benefits of staying at Hotel Rural Solar das Arcadas outweigh any inconveniences that may exist and gives you the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of being away from the tourist crowds.

The only thing that could have been better was if I was able to stay for much longer 😁. But, I'll definitely be back!

anna was amazing with our checkin and she helped us get dinner sorted as it was a Sunday. we were very tired and stressed from our camino and she was extremely helpful with whatever??? we had, such great service. will def recommend your hotel to friends

Located in a quiet area and not far from a place where you can swim in the river. There is a bus that goes past sometimes if you need to get here without public transport. Good breakfast and medium sized swimming pool. Loungers by the pool. Generally a comfortable space. Staff were helpful in giving me breakfast earlier when I had to leave early in the morning.

I imagined the grounds to be a bit bigger. Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room and some tea-making facilities, though one could get some hot water in the breakfast area if one asked.

Breakfast could have been a bit better, particularly for people with intolerances (gluten free, etc). Shower door was half broken but they said they'd look into it when i left (i was there for one night for a wedding)

Breakfast could be better if, juice is of higher quality, bacon would be nice to have, and some typical products like chouriço, enxidos or smoked ham.

This place was excellent and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The parking lot is small, so I had to park on the street. However, the streets are very quiet and feel safe.

So tranquil! We stayed in a bigger room that had a Q bed and two sets of bunkbeds. Tons of towels, tons of space, very comfortable. The breakfast is huge and delicious with a nice coffee maker. LOVED the pool, so clean with nice deck chairs and shower. There's a big shared room for cooking and eating with the other guests (hotel and glampers). Super responsive and friendly hotel staff too! Bonus,you can directly walk down the road to a park at the river's side and there are vineyards everywhere. It's so beautiful and peaceful.

We wanted to use the swimming pool but it was not possible as it was in maintenance.. but the staff was overcompensating about it . Room lighting could have been better
