We stayed in the front apartment, (Casa Do Ze), not facing the pool, for 2 nights. It is a modern, comfortable, clean and well-equiped apartment with 2 spacious bedrooms, and compact kitchen and bathroom. Parking was on the quiet street outside the front fence of the property. All information about the property (in several languages) including recommendations for cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, is accessible via a QR code. The location is in a small village about 10 to 15 mins drive from Viana do Costelo. A good, small supermarket is about 5 mins drive from the property. We had good night sleeps due to the quiet location and full bedroom shutters.

No major issues. The adjacent unit was used one night by an unobtrusive solo traveller, so no noise or privacy concerns.

What a wonderful week! The apartment was perfect (the pool and outdoor area was exceptional) - it was very comfortable, everything considered and absolutely spotless. It was quiet and so peaceful. A special mention goes to our hosts, Luis and Mary, who could not have been more helpful. We were particularly grateful that they were willing to welcome us at 1.30am after a late flight - with smiles and cake!! As others have said, you really need a car to make the most of this fabulous place - some highlights for us that we wouldn't have known about without the comprehensive guide provided were: sunset at the Monte de Sao Silvestre, the Pincho waterfalls and river swimming at Estoraos. Thank you - we very much hope to return!!

What a perfect apt that feels like home. The kids LOVED the pool and we as parents loved the blackout shades to help them sleep and recover from jetlag. The home has everything you need, including a washer for clothes. Location is great for going between different towns but not walkable to anything of note. Parking spot included which is very helpful. Wonderful host!

The apartment was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were very modern and functional, incredibly clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped with all the necessary for meal preparation. The best part was the direct access to the pool right outside the room, and the added bonus of a grill area for family gatherings. The location was serene and peaceful, nestled in a charming small village with breathtaking mountain views. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and to our delight, they surprised us with two delicious cakes as a gift! We had the most wonderful vacation here and wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. We hope to return someday!

Everything has been fine and easy. Louis, his wife and little princess made us home caring for everything we need which was much. They even prepared a cake for breakfast and gave us a bottle of fizzy wine for our aperitif. Their story is a nicer piece of romance from another era: simply great.

Absolutely exceptional accommodation. Very helpful owners, nonstop willing to advise or help. I needed to get a fishing permit and the owner arranged everything immediately. A warm welcome and a welcome cake awaited me on arrival. Fully equipped kitchen, where some free coffee, tea, water and juices were available. It will make you happy after the long journey. The room is equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, so you can make comfort as you like. The room overall was beautiful, modern, spacious and clean. Outside barbecue with accessories ready for grilling. The outdoor pool was always perfectly prepared. The location of the hotel is convenient for trips around the area, a short distance from the highway. I was thrilled with the accommodation and will definitely return there with my family. Many thanks again to Luis and his family. I felt completely at home.

A beautifully presented property and apartment. Full provision for our little ones with a crib, pushchair, high chair, baby bath and a few toys. Wonderfully comfortable beds.

Everything was done to such a high standard! Not many things to comment on. Maybe have a soft rug in each bedroom because the floors are hard and cold. And maybe a soft blanket in the lounge to snuggle with.

Wonderful apartment furnished with style and taste. It is perfectly clean and has a beautiful outdoor space with a warm swimming pool. The owners are very kind and accommodating whilst being discreet. We were very sorry to leave but we hope to come back soon.
