Clean and beautiful hotel in a peaceful area. Daily room cleaning. I like that there are numerous activities available during the stay (two small pools, nearby hiking trails, caves (Grutas de Santo António and Alvados), bike rentals, cooking classes, and massages). Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

Hotel kitchen is closed on Sundays, and there are no proper places to eat nearby—so not ideal if you don’t have a car. Although the rules say you can book dinner 48 hours in advance, availability is limited—we tried to book Monday dinner on Friday, but it was already full. Mattress was quite hard. Bath is in the room, which might be an issue for someone. The area does not have any taxi service.

We had an amazing time celebrating our wedding anniversary at Nest. The room was incredible with a big window looking at a big fig tree, so you wake up and the first thing you see is green!! It was very quiet and the room was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is also really nice with a great view to the mountains. We had dinner at Terruja and really enjoyed it! Breakfast served in the room is also a nice treat for this type of romantic getaway. We will be back!

Just a couple of minor improvements. Would have been nice to have water in the room. This is something I would expect for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was good but the croissants were quite small ;) Would also be good to have the option of an earlier breakfast. We are used to waking up early so 8h30am is a bit late.

Location is amazing, facilities are really good. Staff was kind and helpful. I have stayed here the night before my wedding. We stayed at the Nest. I had the make-up artist and photographers coming in the morning, and I had informed the hotel a few months before when I did the booking and we had no problems with this. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. All was great. Recommended.

The fact that we could not ask for late check-out in advance.

The silence, the nature, the rooms, the swimming pool. Also the flexibility for a later checkout was really appreciated! I loved the basket breakfast by The Nest. Was such a nice way of avoiding the typical restaurant way. I would love to stay at the Emotional Hotel but keeping the basket breakfast 😀

I think the Terruja restaurant in the Nest is a bit unclear the relationship with the Hotel and can be misleading. For a light meal by the pool the restaurant seems overly fancy and pricey, but the Emotional Hotel restaurant is far away when one just wants to enjoy the pool at the Nest. Btw Terruja background music was a bit disturbing the silence by the pool! The Staff was generally pretty welcoming but we found one of the receptionist not as “welcoming”. When we asked about using the pool for a bit longer after checkout, even though the answer was positive, we didn’t necessarily feel like welcomed there. For the level and price I would really appreciate not have to feel “as I’m asking for a big favor”.

It was the most peaceful area. The pools were just dreamy. The room was designed really well, the bed was comfortable and the windows over looking the mountains were stunning. The food was delicious. We loved the touch of breakfast delivered in a basket. The baths and massages were incredible too.

Just a small note - The card for the room being attached to the key was frustrating, as you had to take it out to lock or unlock the door, which plunges the room into darkness at night. Also, we felt it was quite hard to get in touch with staff at times as we were based in the nest.

Such a great place, calm, cozy, inviting to chill and detach from daily life. The baths are a great attraction!

The breakfast food in the basket was cold, and it would be nice if someone could look after the outdoor fireplaces, and also show the arriving guests the facilities... its a pity we couldn't have the cooking and dine experience

I'm frankly upset that the pictures on the website aren't half as incredible as seeing this place in real life and experiencing what it is. I was surprised by how amazing it all was. This is honestly one of the best hotel experiences that I've ever had, breakfast in your room, nothing but birds outside, breathtaking decoration in the room. It's just insane. Free bikes and accessible roads make exploring the outdoors just as easy as enjoying the room, great food in a short distance as well for other meals of the day. Hands down a once in a lifetime experience that will warm your soul.

The staff was very friendly and warm. They were very kind helping me a lot to make the night even more special to my wife. Thank you guys! :) The environment it is amazing and chilled. The architecture it is beautiful. The breakfast was also really good.

I think the food from the bar can get a lot better. It's quite expensive price/quality

We loved the rooms, so beautiful! We stayed in the Nest, really peaceful Both swimming pools were great. Everything was perfectly clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They suggested us great restaurants in the neighborhood. We loved our stay! ❤️
