A group of friends and I booked three of the „Time Houses“. We can confirm that the advertised pictures absolutely reflect the reality. All three houses were beautifully decorated with attention to detail and the cleanliness was impeccable. Contrary to previous reviews that mention a lack of maintenance in the houses, missing heating and cold water, our experience was perfect. The houses were very well kept, the heating was turned on upon our check in providing a cozy atmosphere and we had no issues with cold water. I would also like to note that that the staff from the Editory Hotel Group was extremely helpful in ensuring that all my questions and requests were met. The area around the houses is very peaceful and green!

I would not classify this as a „dislike“, however, we did notice that some of the decorations in the houses differed. In two of the houses, we had white high quality dining chairs while in the third house, the chairs were grey and of a plastic-similar material. In one house there were beautiful flower vases, in the others not. I would recommend to unify the interior designs, as this ensures that all guests have the same experience!

The location was great, very beautiful and peaceful. The villas were very spacious and perfect for what we had in mind for our little team retreat.

Nothing bad to say, except for the fact that a week after we left we still didn't get the invoice and need to contact the hotel for the second time to request it.

Fantastic location. Troia it's a nice place to rest and to be in vacations with the familly.

Air condicioner of the house didn't work. It was mentioned that the house has a pool but it has not! So we book the house thinking there's a pool and we didn't have one. The reception desk is at hotel Aqualuz and their service is very very bad. The notifyed me via email on the check-in day at 6pm saying that check-in should be made after 4pm. When arrived to the proprierty we had no idea we should go to this Aqualuz Hotel. At Aqualuz hotel there was a uge line to check-in and we were waiting for hours. Unbeliavable. I will not repeat this experience and that's pitty because the house is very nice.

Location. It’s just a few steps from the beach. Amazing to rest and relax.

No access to any of the pools

We weren't welcomed by any staff, in person, to show us the house and its amenities. Some things were broken, so it would be nice to be welcomed by someone to confirm that they already knew about those and to make us feel more comfortable entering the house.

The design of the villas are nice.

I think for the value of these villas I think the maintenance and up keep of these properties should impecable. In some places like balconies the overall look was worn down. The check in was very late and the check out early. They should have a mat in front door so we aren't tracking water all over the place.

First off - the villa was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The beds were the most comfortable and the bathrooms were huge. The outdoor space was relaxing. The location was very convenient to Comporta beaches, shopping and restaurants.

I know this is Covid time - but as I paid a high price there are a few issues. First off it was extremely confusing as to getting to the point of check-in. Very confusing. This is also where locals go to vacation - I am hoping to not sound like an ugly American - but the communication was a bit lacking. Even the directions to get to the villa was not the best. They gave us a map and I guess hoped for the best. The beach was located closer than we originally thought but we could not figure it out. We got our steps in :). For the price we paid, we were not allowed pool access. Once inside the Villa - they didn't even have salt or paper towels - we had to buy everything for our 5 day stay. Not event coffee. There were a million light switches - none of them actually in the room - that were also confusing to work. The wifi only works on the floor with the router - not on the second floor. Be careful of that or you will use your data. The reception needs to ramp it up a bit. I don't know if they need to hire more people but in this they are lacking. This is a resort - and the experience could be so amazing - but it is lacking when you are given a map and sent on your way without any explanation. We spent $500 a night - thats not cheap. Thankfully, the ability to get in the car and drive to Comporta made you forget this.

Modern and large

Dirty bathroom and kitchen, broken umbrella, door missing off bathroom, changed our accommodation, were rude and dismissive when we complained about these things. Beds were like sleeping on a slab of stone.
