I recently stayed at this seaside hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Nestled right in front of the ocean, the property offers breathtaking views from almost every corner—whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee on the balcony or taking an evening walk along the shore, the sea is always just a few steps away. The calming sound of the waves made the entire experience feel peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was another highlight. Served in a bright dining area overlooking the water, it included a generous variety of options: fresh fruit, warm pastries, local cheeses, and hot dishes made to order. The quality and freshness of the ingredients stood out, and it was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. Overall, the combination of the unbeatable location and the excellent breakfast makes this hotel a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy a stay right by the sea.

The facilities and staff were exceptional. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the manager, who provided outstanding care and demonstrated exemplary leadership during what was the most significant blackout in Europe in the past two decades. Thanks to the hotel’s excellent management and robust backup generators, power was never lost on the premises, ensuring our comfort and safety throughout the crisis.

Among the various facilities, I was particularly impressed by the spa and the indoor swimming pool, which provided a serene and luxurious atmosphere. Furthermore, the hotel’s proximity to the beach added to the overall experience, offering the perfect balance between relaxation and natural beauty.

Everything was really nice! The hotel, the staff, the location. The breakfast was really nice too! Good variety and a lot to choose from. The hotel was very clean as well. There’s nothing I can really complain about. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to stay here as well as I would definitely come back if I’d go to Troia again one day.

Nothing really. One “negative” argument would be maybe that for the fact that it’s a 5-star hotel and not the cheapest I’ve ever been to that you anyway get only 1 bottle of water for free and the rest you need to pay, but that’s really the only thing you can maybe mention as a “negative” argument.

The location and the view over the beach is amazing. The breakfast is great with a lot of variety, The swimming pools are great, the restaurant is good. The 3/4-minute walk to the beach is one of the best things. But the best thing is actually the staff, absolutely amazing always ready to help and with a smile.

The hotel needs maintenance in the rooms, there are dents and scratches in every piece of furniture, there was a hole in one of the pictures hanged in the room (just remove it). It's a shame. Not directly related to the hotel, the food around the hotel is on the most expensive places I have experienced in Portugal and the quality is "meh".

Excellent hotel with walking distant to the lovely Troia beach. Beach towels are provided at the reception. The room is huge, with a big balcony and a fantastic view of the ocean - I could even see the dolphins from my room. Bathroom is fantastic, water pressure and temperature is perfect. Chocolates were placed by my pillow every night which is a nice touch. Good variety at breakfast and the food and drinks were great at the b&g restaurant and at the poolside bar. Big pool area and there is always a sunbed available when I go which is a big plus. Had a massage at the spa and NooNoo (I hope I got his name right) is very good and highly recommended. Reception staff were helpful and very welcoming. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

There were only two lifts servicing the side of the hotel I am in. During Sunday checkout time, the lifts were constantly full and several ppl on various floors were unable to get into the lifts - bit of an oversight in the architecture. Outdoor pool is very cold.

We liked the facilities in the hotel a lot to do even if the weather is bad, we absolutely loved the outside pool, the food in the pool bar was also very good and the prices were reasonable, beaches around the hotel are absolutely beautiful, ohh and the beds, massive and super comfortable

Our room definitely needed some updating in some areas, especially the shower where the white tiles are going yellow uneven shower tray and the cleaning of the hotel was ok some areas needed deep cleaning but we were happy overall. The restaurants around the hotel are very overpriced (very tasty) but you can get the same quality of food over the ferry in Setúbal for half the price

Nice location close to restaurants and shops, and in the marina. Staff were inexperienced and with an attitude they’re the last cookie of the pie. Breakfast is ok. Pool area is the nicest area of the hotel. Parking is good and big.

Hotel is old and needs a renovation. Staff is not great. Even though there are 4 elevators it can be a pain to move up and down since hotel is quite big and has more than 10 floors. Elevators didn’t feel very safe.

The staff were very commendable. Polite and is helpful. Room was good, facilities was fantastic and breakfast was marvellous. This hotel easily became the pride of Portugal and will be the reason for me to go back to the hotel everytime.

Well, literally nothing but it would be good to have a spray gun or bidet installed within the toilet because some of us do not just wipe, but wash ourselves after using the toilet.

Very good breakfast, nicely spaced rooms, very good bath corner, great terrace with swimming pool, relatively close beaches (not yet developed- which has its positives).

No minibars in rooms, no spoons and related accessories for coffee, tea, etc. which should be automatic in hotels of this level, substandard reception (again - better one should be in this cathegory)

Everything was awesome. Breakfast, location, room, swimming pool, decoration, staff, and the view... was gorgeous. There's no need form more words. I'll be back again soon. :)

The bathroom was great and beautifull, but there's a bath tube in the middle, that I was not able to use, because the drain stopper didn't stay closed. Another thing was the shower. It's a little bit impossible not to turn the bathroom into an aquarium when the glass panel covers only one end of the shower... Everything else... Five stars.
