Great location in centre and near all the restaurants.

Rooms on road side were a bit noisy because of bar on opposite side of road. Coffee at breakfast wasn't great - not as good as coffee in hotel cafe, which was freshly made rather than from a self service machine. Avocado and egg not great.

Great location, great staff, great room, great breakfast, all one could ask for!

It is getting more expensive every year as everything at Comporta. Currently too expensive, and I usually don't mind paying for quality.

Pool area, design and location. Spa treatment. Quite and peaceful place.

Hotel states that they are pet friendly, and at the same time discourages pet owners to bring a pet because they make you to pay for the room upgrade to suite and charge you 30€ per pet per day. Just be honest and transparent - you do not want to receive pets in your property. In our case we wanted to bring 2 medium size dogs and had to give up because the policy makes it extremely expensive and makes no sense. Did not cancel our stay only because we had non-refundable rate through booking, otherwise we would cancel.

Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good selection of eggs. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable, though a bit small. The location was great, with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. I’d like to also mention a warm welcome I received when I was greeted with a chilled bottle of Prosecco. It was such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of my stay. On my second day, I returned to my room to find a beautiful fruit bowl waiting for me. Just when I thought the hotel had done it all, I was surprised yet again later during my stay with a delightful selection of cold cuts of Portuguese origin, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious – and yes, it was accompanied by another bottle of Prosecco!

Still water was chlorinated, likely tap (both at breakfast and in the room). Room glasses were not properly washed after cleaning service. Unfortunately no sauna, but I knew about it before coming to the place.

The stuff is excellent and I think what makes this unique hotel. They were always willing to accommodate and very thoughtful.

The spa prices are very high, considering the low season. We were a group of women and opted out. Although the hotel is gorgeous, there were some cut corners like the shower floor, which was soft and springy, because it was done in acrylic versus tile. For a new hotel, there were a few things we noticed like balcony sliding doors that didn’t work well that should be addressed to match the rest of the hotel outside of the rooms.

The location of this hotel is quite good for a 3-4 night stay in the area. Be aware it is essentially a luxury motel. Rooms open to the exterior and there is no room service. We had a suite with terrace for 2 nights and continued our stay for an extra 2 nights for a total of 4 nights. Our suite had a kitchenette with an under counter refrigerator, small cooktop, oven, kettle and coffee maker. The kitchen was stocked with pots, dishes and utensils necessary to make a simple meal. There was a sofa and large tv with a divider from the sleeping area. Our terrace was huge and was on the floor above us, accessed from exterior stairs. Breakfast was ample and quite nice. The rooftop bar/restaurant was quite good for a simple tapas style meal and served good cocktails. The music didn’t quite fit the atmosphere though.

Not much. We enjoyed our stay immensely. There were only two of us in our suite but it was not cheap. I guess if you were traveling with children who could sleep on the pull out sofa and you wanted to prepare a few meals in the room, it would be a much better value.

The hotel was perfectly situated in the town within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Very quiet. The staff were all so friendly and most helpful The rooms were beautifully furnished and very clean The whole feel of the hotel was super laid back and very stylishly furnished . The breakfast was very good, lots of fresh fruit and fresh egg dishes and a choice of sitting inside or outside

We had a lovely room with a roof terrace but the terrace was not accessed from the room, so we didn't use it. This was fully explained when we booked the room so not really a complaint.

Quirky eco-hotel, welcome gift and hostess took us to our room, friendly staff. Organised massages, bike rental. The beds and bed linen were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was great, with good variety and open till 11. Lovely roof top bar with decent drinks list and delicious cocktails and small dishes and snacks.

Dance class was cancelled last minute and no way to get taxis (as it’s a super small town and only two drivers). Dance class organised through the hotel. Drivers were not the hotels responsibility. We were about an hour late getting into our room. The shower had no seal to the bathroom floor so the water went all over the floor.

Great location in the centre of Comporta. Brief walk to shops and restaurants. Very recently renovated with a quiet pool area and rooftop bar, serving cocktails and good snacks and tapas style food. Would recommend the Ceviche and also the sardine fillets on brioche as a mid afternoon snack. Breakfast is small but has the nice addition of some cooked to order items as well as the continental breakfast. Staff were very accommodating and polite. We were upgraded to a pool suite on arrival. Would definitely recommend and will return again soon.

Nothing to dislike. All very good.

It was just perfect. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and always with a smile. Late night my husband was hungry and I called the reception to ask if was possible to eat something ( the bar closes at 23h, and it was near that time, but they managed to bring us something to the room). The room was beautifully decorated and the bed/ pillows super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of options, and everything home made (the papaya marmelade was divine). Super clean and cosy with a Boho Chick atmosphere ( the pictures doesn't make real justice). The common areas were beautiful, pleasant and enjoyable.
