The spa area was amazing with beautiful views. In summertime there’s also a great outside pool. The views all in all from every location in the property were amazing. The restaurant was superb in both breakfast and dinner. Don’t miss the little sign in the breakfast that allows you to order special meals. The rooms are huge and you’re able to cook easily if you wish. There are many good hiking trails around and it’s not so far from the national park.

The shower isn’t so good, the water pressure quite low. The spa hours (especially indoor pool hours) should be a bit longer. The jacuzzi - sounds funny but very hard to maintain and not warm enough.

Without a doubt, this hotel stood out as the highlight of our two-week Portugal adventure. We were captivated by the unbeatable views, and the amenities like the indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, and reading room were truly spectacular. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

Our check-in experience was a bit disappointing. The process took quite a while, and we felt the reception staff could have been more welcoming and friendly.

Breakfast was plentiful and varied

Unfortunately the spa bar wasn't manned during our stay, it would have been nice to have somewhere informal to socialise in the evenings. The restaurant evening menu could also have been more varied, if you didn't want to order of the sensations menu your choice was very limited. The hotel itself was spectacular and the views breathtaking.

They say - "it is human to err"... But, definitely, if you want to have a real rest - both mental and physical - you won't err if you visit " Pousabela village" аnd stay there for a week... First, you'll be really pleased by kind and benevolent reception - the stuff is very friendly; you'll enjoy delicious homemade meals in " Pousabela" restaurant; the spacious apartments are equipped with everything you need in everyday life. But the main thing you will taste and never forget - astonishing and really striking VIEW OF THE HIGHLANDS: silent river and green trees below you - and almost absolute silence around you... Try it - you'll not be disappointed!

Stunning hillside location, the infinity pool looking out over the mountains and the lake at sunset was just amazing, view from the outdoor terrace tables was the same. Room was a full self catered apartment with kitchen/dining area/sofa then bedroom/bathroom and balcony. Plenty of parking space. Really wonderful staff, friendly, helpful and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend and would visit again.

Be careful which room you book as some are on a separate site to the restaurant and the turn off the main road/drive up to the hotel is a little challenging

Everything was perfect, from the place itself to the workers. Waking up in the morning with that view and then all the facilities makes you feel amazing. As a couple with a baby of 7 months, everyone helped from breakfast to dinner. To any request, I always had a quick reply from the place. The indoor pool is amazing to go with small baby/kids. Breakfast. From sweet to salty things, from eggs on request or just vegetables, there is for every taste. Same room, but as a restaurant, one of the best octopus I ate in my life. Every time I went there the food was marvelous. To come back for sure.

The view from the Boavista house make you not want to leave. Very nice facilities with a beautiful spa. Breakfast was excellent! Very kind and attentive staff over all. Would defintaley recommend it to anyone and to hike in the Peneda Geres National park was truly amazing!

We really enjoyed the beauty of this property and the incredible restaurant. It was a small house and was so comfortable! We enjoyed having places to sit and relax inside and outside. Given that there is not much nearby (not to walk to) it was helpful to have breakfast is included and you can eat in the restaurant in the evenings. The food was excellent and we ate there both nights of our stay. Wish it has been warmer because the outdoor infinity pool is incredible, and the spaces are thoughtfully designed and decorated. The staff was exceptional.

We found accessing some of the spa ammenties to be confusing, wished it was possible to borrow, or make available shower caps for guests. We would have liked to use the indoor pool/jacuzzi but did not have shower caps and so were unable to.

The location and the view was exceptional. The room is big, clean and well equipped. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our vacation there and would love to come again.

There is a construction area right next to the hotel (I think it’s the hotel adding rooms) and it was noisy. All the extra services were quit expensive, and the truth is that it feels that the hotel charging for thing they should have provide (dishwasher tables, we got less than the days we stayed and they charged for extras).

The hotel is perched on a hilltop with a stunning view of the river — absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I really enjoyed the spa area; it was relaxing and well-maintained. Dinner at the restaurant was exceptional — the food, service, and atmosphere exceeded my expectations.
