Adelaide Hotel- Geres A maze of buildings and staircases, hotel on a narrow road steep hill. Good amount of parking. Room and bathroom large with balcony and clean. Breakfast good, scrambled eggs available. Geres town is only a 5 minute walk but could be tricky as steep hill and stairs. Overall the town was slightly disappointing, although there are a number of restaurants some were closed on certain days. Very few shops and not too much going on, obviously this was out of season so maybe different at other times of year. Swimming pool is 15 minute walk but down the hill into town and uphill to reach it, can take car instead.

When visiting swimming pool you have to show your room card not to pay entrance fee. You have to pay for sun beds and they don’t provide towels.

This hotel is amazing value for money. I had a spacious room and bathroom with a balcony that had an incredible view over the valley. The restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were good options. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Some features in the bathroom were a little worn but given everything else, especially the price, it's really nothing to complain about. Also my air conditioning unit wasn't working but I didn't ask the staff about it and I was able to cool the room just be leaving the balcony door open.

Great location and fantastic deal for the area. All around a great stay if you're looking for a budget hotel. Breakfast was satisfactory.

The shower - there wasn't a shower holder so you'd have to sit in the bath and position the shower head just right in order for it to spray on you. Literally sit down in the bathtub in order to take a shower due to the shower head missing a place for it on the wall.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Got a ride to my first hiking trail without asking and a to-go breakfast for my early morning check-out that much appreciated! Special kudos to Carlos.

Loved the view and terrace. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Location was good and very quiet. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Shower didn’t drain and almost overflowed, which was a bit annoying. Room was small but worked for our needs!

Staff is adorable. Restaurant is excellent and affordable. Breakfast is great. The place is well organized and shining clean. They are flexible and served breakfast earlier, and allowed late checkout with no cost.

Really lovely hotel. Large comfortable room. Great view from the balcony. Great breakfast selection. Only a 10 minute walk into town. In a good location to explore the national park. Plenty of car parking. Pool was cold but still a great place to relax with lovely views.

A little bit stuffy at times in the room.

Our room had a balcony and great view over the town and valley. It was handy for a great walk in the hills next to the town. The restaurant had a good breakfast and we enjoyed 2 evening meals there with excellent food an service.

Everyone was lovely and very friendly. The bed was super comfortable, and it was great after a long day of sightseeing. The fact that there was a shuttle bus to the pool was great, especially as it was extremely hot to be walking around. Great stay! Would highly recommend.

The shower could have been more powerful, but it was sufficient for 1 night stay.

The location is great. The room with a balcony had a really nice view across the town below and along the valley. Plenty of parking available. Breakfast had a great variety to pick from, and was good value. Ideally located for accessing all the hiking trails, waterfalls and view points.
