Be careful with what you book, because there are two hotels in one with two very constrating experience. If you book a standard ("superior") room, you will be get one of the lower floor, not renovated room. I got to try 5 of them and all had (pick and choose) : leaking showers, bed bugs in antique sofas, windows not closing, antique mattresses, broken closets, etc. Finally, after 24 hours of trials and errors, and complaining and negotiating, we got paired with one of the higher floor, renovated room, making the rest of the stay perfectly comfortable and enjoyable.

The staff is incredibly helpful and they go above and beyond to make sure the guests are comfortable and happy. The location is perfect and close to everything. Room was nice and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

They really need to invest on more elevators, it gets a bit chaotic with only 3 and loads of guests. Breakfast is good but it could use more healthy options.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The location was also perfect despite the beach not being suitable for swimming, which is known to locals and tourists. The staff was nice and the stay overall was enjoyable.

I wish that more than one person spoke English, especially considering that the hotel is used for international conferences. I noticed however that this is in general a difficulty with Brazil, therefore it should not be a knock-out criteria!

Everything! The hotel is amazing: huge and beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfast, friendly staff and atmosphere, nice pool area. The beds are really good and the amenities in the bathroom are of good quality. We also liked the coffee maker in the room. The selection of food at breakfast is more than you could hope for. The housekeeper on 16th floor is just fantastic, so helpful and kind. The food at the hotel restaurant is delicious and there are many good options. The waiting staff is great.

Not many people in the staff speak other than Portuguese so learn the basics… Due to renovation the elevators were sometimes slow and full. The entrance to the hotel is kind of small and not so inviting, but after the renovation it must be really nice.

The location is the key of a good hotel and this one is perfect! In the heart of Boa Viagem, in front of the beach! Xodó ( the dog) is an amazing “concierge”, jokes aside, everyone is very pleasant and helpful. The room is very spacious with comfortable bed. Breakfast is unbelievable!

Excellent location with easy access to the beach and the airport. The hotel's restaurant, while with a limited selection, was pleasant. We stayed in the 5th floor, which was the first one with apartments and it already had a nice view of the beach. The breakfast (not part of daily fee) was amazing and it's served in a salon with a wonderful view of the beach.

The rooms were all a little worse for wear but they are renovating the whole hotel so that might not be a problem in the future.

Location is great for the beach which is right across the street. Nice views from the hotel rooms. The breakfast was excellent each day and the pool bar patio was a nice place to get some sun and a cod drink. Overall, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

There are not many restaurants or shops nearby that you can walk to. So plan on a cab or Uber to go out anywhere.

Nice staff. The hotel is perfectly located. The room was nice and big. The breakfast is OK.

The hotel is under renovation: there are only 3 elevators and only 2 are working ! So everybody is always waiting for the elevator. You have to wait sometimes 10 minutes... Also, the rooms seem a bit outdated: it's really the style and decoration of the 70s/ 80s. My room had a big living room but with very few facilities (there was a bar, with a small fridge, but not any kind of cooking facilities or even plates, so you were wondering why so much space for such a small fridge).
