Rodrigo was exceptional. We arrived having parked in the parking garage next to the hotel which didn’t have easy access with lots of luggage to the hotel. He helped us with a special entrance and personally took our luggage all the way to our room. He ordered a taxi for the following morning that was waiting ahead of the scheduled time at 6:15am. We had dinner which was delicious at the hotel restaurant on the 10th floor.

The shower was very slow to drain so I was standing in a few inches of water during my shower.

we received an upgrade to a suite and this was very big and comfortable, with a fantastic view. Beds were great, bathroom OK. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, which has an even better view. Overall, a good experience. Surprising given the dreary place that is Puerto Montt these days.

Obviously, the hotel is getting old. The surrounding area is quite disappointing and the entrance/reception is not very inviting. The windows of our room were very dirty. But one can imagine that it is not easy to keep everything up-to-date because of the surroundings.

Central location. Clean, comfortable room with great view out to see. Easily walkable from many decent restaurants.

Check-in took a long time. Also, breakfast only served from 7.30, which was no good for us as we had a flight. Allow plenty of time to get to the airport as rush hour traffic was awful.

As backpackers we were delighted with a spacious room with big comfy bed and amazing views. Restaurant was surprisingly good with even better views and not really expensive.

Although the nearby boulevard is nice, the directly surrounding area felt a bit shady. The building has seen better days, but core functions are more than adequate.

The location is excellent. Our room had ocean view and the rooftop terrace is also amazing for dinner with a view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious

It doesn't have the amenities of a 4 stars hotel but I feel like the price reflects that as it was cheap to be a 4 stars hotel

Though Puerto Montt in itself is a somewhat uninteresting place, it works as a very convenient hub for several splendid destinations and activities in southern Chilean Patagonia. The Gran Pacifico is a modern hotel, well appointed and maintained. The view of the andes, the islands and the fjords from the balconies is nothing less the stunning! It also has a very good restaurant, with a nice menu and with an off-the-charts-good breakfast! During our stay we visited picturesque Chiloé island, the Osorno volcano and made a full round-trip of big and Lake Llanquiue, with several lovely towns like Las Cascadas, Puerto Octay and Frutillar, to name our favorites.

Pto. Montt is a cold place most of the year, thus everything is set up to be warm... the rooms have a radiant plate room conditioning, thus will only warm them up, or be off. We felt a little discomfort at night, because we had to keep windows open to get fresh air, and had to sleep in the clarity.

The staff organised breakfast for us to our room on our first day as we arrived too late due to ferry delays. Quiet room due to high floor. Free parking was a bonus. Room was OK - not as good as European standards, but good for Patagonia verde.

Breakfast was basic. Coffee was terrible (as it generally is in Chile!)

Views for days! Breakfast was literally the greatest thing ever with a billion things to choose from as well as being on the top floor overlooking the harbour whilst chowing down on all the sugary buttery cakes meant you couldn’t not start the day on a positive note!

All was good. No complaints!

Location is great. You are very close to downtown, shopping centers, restaurants, and markets. The view is amazing. Breakfast is really good with a lot of choices. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and professional.

Internet service is terrible. Our room was on the 6th floor and we were always losing the wifi signal. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, but the cleaning service should be a little bit better especially in the bathroom. It was not really a deep cleaning just where you could see.

Perfectly nice hotel within proximity of the sea wall walk, and lovely view from the roof top restaurant. A bit dated in terms of decor, but nice enough and quiet. Staff were helpful.

Service was efficient but a bit indifferent at times.
