Good location but Judith and Dolly (cute and friendly little dog) made the stay. We were offered a good range of choices for breakfast each day. Breakfast was seated around kitchen island with the other guests. The environment encouraged conversations which was a pleasant addition to the trip. Judith joined in with the conversations and gave us suggestions for places to eat and things to see. She was also helpful for advice in getting around. Extra toiletries, towels and bedding were available in the room.

The locks on the room doors are more of the style for a bathroom. On saying that, I still felt that our belongings were safe. The guest WiFi was rather poor.

Location was great, right in between Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards. Many places were walking distance, and if not, bus stops are not far away. A lovely, secure and cosy house in a great area. Elaine is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely each morning with an array of options. The rooms were clean and well setup, we were very warm and snug when it was cold and rainy outside. Bonus was a mini-fridge in the cupboard to keep our water cool.

The bed was very squeaky, and only a double bed. We are two average/tall people and double beds are just a bit small for us. Other than the size and noise of the bed, everything was great.

- lovely house located just 30 min walk from walk of fame and 1hr walk from Beverly Hills. - plenty of different restaurants within 5 min walk from the property - great host always willing to help - nice breakfast - lovely dog that lives in the house, Dolly - the dog that doesn’t bark and only enhances experience - not noisy, quiet street and felt safe even in the evening

Door to bedroom didn’t have a lock Part of the ceiling fan fell off and landed on the bed . It was too noisy to be able to use at night. However there was a fan could have used Breakfast was good but never enough milk on the table which meant that Elaine was always having to replenish it

If you`re able to book this stay- You are lucky to do so. I can rarely do it, but this time- I can recommend 10/10. The location is great, value for money is very good. There is a free parking, and a very nice breakfast. Elaine is a great host, and a heartwarming, interesting person. Wi-Fi internet worked great. The host contacted us before check-in- so we were able to enter the house by ourselves. You are just few blocks away from the Walk of Fame. The room- very spacious. What didn`t I like? That we didn`t stay longer. Just one thing. There is a wonderful dog Dolly- so people allergic to pet`s fur should consider. But it wasn`t our case.

The location was perfect, short walking distance to bus or metro links. Felt very homely.Safe to walk at night, nearby eating options. It was lovely to be greeted by someone during the day, who also gave great recommendations. Breakfast was great, was a good chance to talk to other guests. Appreciated the human contact as it’s rare to even see anyone in many other accommodations. Julia our host made our stay personal and we loved our 5days at the property.

Loved everything

Elaine, our host, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and comfortable with a fridge in the room. A nice breakfast provided in the morning. Went out of her way to accomodate us, can highly recommend it. Quiet neighbourhood, easy bus trip to central Hollywood (or 15 min walk) but far enough away to avoid the chaos of it

House is very cozy and inviting. Elaine is super friendly and accommodating. The room was super spacious and clean. It's great that it had its own bathroom. Neighborhood was quiet, and I felt safe there. Would definitely stay here again. Bonus was getting to meet Dolly, her lovely and very well-behaved dog.

Only think that was tricky was the parking, only a certain number of street permits so I had to park in the very cramped carport and I did scratch my car slightly 😳

Elaines is very near to Hollywood Blvd. It is only a short walk away. We used the hop on/off open top bus and there is a stop just down the road which was great for us. Elaine and Julia are very pleasant and approachable and made us both feel welcome. We would not hesitate to stop over here again. The breakfasts are lovely and are a nice touch that is a welcome surprise.

Just a minor that we would have liked a kettle or coffee m/c for a late night cuppa so not to disturb anyone else. However Elaine had no problems in us using the kitchen kettle.

Elaine's was wonderful, a perfect stay for us. From Dolly, the very cute dog greeting us hello in the mornings to the quiet residential street and comfortable bedrooms. The location was perfect, very close to restaurants and the theater venue we attended.
