I've loved absolutely everything, the room.was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is super clean and everything was perfect and the room is cleaned everyday on demand so you're absolutely free to choose, there is a mini-fridge and a mini oven so everything is made for you to feel "home", they even offer coffee with a coffee machine, the staff is nice, the location is near Hollywood blvd and there is bus and metro where you can reach Hollywood/Highland in 5 mn. I recommend this hotel and I will surely go back again. They also store your luggage which is a + if u have a late flight. The hotel is very safety because you need your card to go to your room otherwise nobody can enter the patio, the area isn't that much but it's now like that in every part of Los Angeles, whether it's Downtown, Hollywood and Sunset blvd at night unfortunately.

The pool wasn't heated and at that time of the year, it's too cold so it's too bad because it's a very beautiful area but you can't swim :( at least they should have hested it only for the month of October because even if it's 26°c outside, the water is cold. That's the only point I can find because everything in this hotel was perfect.

The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy and staff were friendly. The hotel is close to Hollywood boulevard and local amenities plus there is onsite parking and the Wi-Fi worked well.

The hotel itself felt safe whilst inside, however around the corner there are homeless people so take extra care. we stayed on the bottom floor and there was constant loud banging in the morning from the floor above.

This is a small hotel but with all of the features you need for your stay in LA. The room was clean and we got maid service every single day we were there. The hotel is located very close to the Hollywood/Western metro station which makes it easy to move around the city using the train. There are stores, restaurants, laundries and pharmacies near the hotel. The Hollywood walk of fame is about 20 mins walk from the hotel. At night the street where the hotel is located is kind of lonely but we felt secure anyways.

The toilet was not flushing correctly but the problem was solved the next day by the maid. Even though the street feels safe, we noticed some homeless in the surroundings at night. so just be aware about it.. Nothing really serious but it's good to be cautious.

The location was just perfect for everything we did. 10-15 min to Hollywood, 15 min to Universal, 5 min to Griffith Park. Really close to the freeway. 25 min from airport with no traffic. Ross, Marshalls and Target are just a couple blocks walking. The room was cleaned everyday and had enough space to make us very comfortable. The staff is really friendly. Free parking was also good since it’s kind of a rule you rent a car in LA.

However, the neighborhood has homeless people camping on the streets. But this is kind of a city problem, only the rich areas has no homeless on the streets.

This is the best value for money in LA. I highly recommend and will be back for sure, we checking in late with Tim he have a best smile and friendly conversation also I felt safe walking around day/night even though there’s homeless around but there’s nothing we can do cause there’s everywhere too just be safe be careful, The rooms are large and the bed is comfortable and clean , the housekeeping working hard to make sure the room is clean I always leave the tip for them before I left elsewhere, we haven’t had a chance to check out the swimming pool but it clean , my room has plenty of space for hanging clothes and they even have iron, hair dryer and safe box also coffee in the room but for the best part the location is one of the best. You can walk up and down Sunset Blvd or a short uber or drive to attractions.

had a relaxing and really pleasant stay at the hollywood city in...Everything was up to my expectations and in line with what I asked for when I made my reservation. For a 2 star hotel he did more than the job. Also, it is really well located for activities, commuting, shopping, etc.. The staff was very friendly and attentive. At the level of the rooms, nothing to say... passage of the charming cleaning ladies who came every day. Clean, decent and comfortable room. I knew how to organize the storage of my belongings without any problem... I recommend this hotel without any hesitation...

The property was in a great location with parking and laundry facilities and pool.

Make sure you get a room on the top floor- there is no carpeting and you can hear everything above you-very annoying! Also- there’s no shelves or furniture so you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor.

The location was easy to access via the metro. It was easy to get to all the places we planned to visit while there. The hotel was close to shops for groceries and close to a wonderful laundrette to wash our clothes before we left. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have more chairs for sitting while in the room and maybe a small table. The bathroom and water pipes were quite noisy at times.

Everything was great. Except the hot water going off after 3 minutes in the shower. That was the only disappointing thing, it made me late for work waiting for the water to get hot again.
