Everything about this place was great. the room was very clean. The towels were large thick and unblemished. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool area was spacious and well kept. Parking was ample, and the underground parking area kept our vehicle cool. Ice machine worked well, there were laundry machines on site to use. I found nothing not to love about this place. I would definitely recommend Ocean Plaza to anyone wanting to go to main Myrtle.

The only thing I found out of sorts was that coffee was not provided for the coffee maker that is in the room. I would have brought my own had I known that this would not be supplied.

Room was very clean. Staff was pleasant. Housekeeping was on top of leaving extra toiletries and towels. Value was great. Parking was good, loved that they had spaces that were covered without having to park down in the 1st floor.. Location was Good, Everythin(minimart, walmart, dollar tree, family Kingdom, restaurants etc) was within walking distance. Quick beach access. Indoor(and hottubs) and outdoor pool. Good wifi connection for my daughter lol.

Pools could've been more clean. Was a little inconvenienced by maintenance of the elevator but they fixed it rather quickly.

Perfect location right on the strip, amazing ocean views, the kitchen is nicely equipped, very friendly staff

The pool water looked a bit murky, both the indoor and outdoor pools. They ended up closing the outdoor pool. There needs to be a way to get up to the indoor pool without going up two sets of stairs. Would be nice to have on-premise security and reception. I think the carpet could be replaced, as it felt a little sticky.

I loved the location and I was ocean front so the view of ocean was also a plus the staff was very friendly room was clean and I loved the indoor pool and whirlpool so overall my visit was great.

My room was on 7th floor the room and view were great was also very clean but the elevator stops on floor 6 there is no elevator to floor 7 and hiking up that last flight of stairs was a bit much but other than the elevator issue everything else was great

We loved the room and oceanfront view/access. We didn't know or find the indoor pool and hot tub until the day before we left. We lost one room key and was charged 25$ that's just insane!!! But, besides that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was our 23 yr anniversary!! We would definitely stay there again.😀

The carpet turned your feet brown/black But, not a huge deal. We lost one key and was charged 25$,which is ridiculous! The front desk lady was nice. We needed to be told about their indoor pool and hot tub,become didn't find until last day before leaving. It's in a weird place. That's all the complaints we have and they're not huge things, except for the key fee!

I I honestly love the place it's awesome and worth the money and great view love there kitchen loaded and beds were comfy and not springy and water pressure was crazy hard 😂 I will be back

did have issues with the glass door not locking I kept asking for them to fix it or give me PC wood to put in it and it took many many many times to get them help I had ask many ppl the elevator take a while but overall ok

I didn't like the fact that I made a room request for the 5th floor. I made reservations in 3 months advance. I have been going to ocean plaza now for 4 years in a row so that was disappointing. Also when I arrived at 4 they said my room wasn't ready when I seen other people come in and get their room immediately . I will be back down there in September so hopefully they can give me the room I had this stay .. I requested room 405 this time.

Oceanfront; The staff was very friendly and helpful from Chrissy at the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the pool cleaner and all others. The outside of the building could use repairs and is deceptive when you arrive but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The outside could use repairs to bring it up to the level of the rooms but it is a small thing. Really not there for the aesthetics. More for the activities (pool, beach, shopping, etc.)

Ocean front staff was very sweet and welcoming fridge worked well cooking utensils where decent at least needs a pan for the oven and at least one knife for like cutting fruit tv and WiFi worked very well parking was really good to we could walk to stores if needed

Needs upgraded the sliding door wasn’t even sealed around the frame, the carpet is horrible needs replaced with something other then carpet. Pools needed cleaned a little better especially the one on the 4th floor, the curtain for the sliding doors where gross the bed skirt wasn’t the cleanest the furniture could definitely be upgraded as well especially the kitchen table, lighting was fair the sheets where pretty rough but where clean ac worked decent. I’m sure this property is old so a few nice touches of upgrades would deft improve the property

Right off the beach, room was great and so was the location. A few mins to the boardwalk great to get a walk in.

I didn't like how after 11pm-12 people were making noises and so that didn't allow me to sleep thru the night. Another thing I didn't like, if you checked out early before the office opened at Ocean Hotel which would be before 8:30am they won't give you your $100 cash deposit back. They said they will mail you a check.
