The location was great. Pool.deck was wonderful. Staff were sweet, kind, and helpful. BBQs were clean and well maintained. Appreciated that they are doing renovations to upgrade the property.

Was surprised by the almost $500 of additional fees added to the bill when I checked in. Felt like this wasn't clearly communicated up front when I booked. I would have booked through VRBO at the same property if I had known as that total price for a similar room would have been cheaper. Room furnishings were a little sparce and low-end given the price of the unit. The kitchen was very sparcely provisioned with cooking utensils and such.

Location to town, buses, beach, cafes and bars were excellent. Being able to use towels for the beach was a bonus.

Out of your control, but the complex (carpark) beside the tennis courts had two fans that were very noisy, running 24/7 thus couldn't leave windows and slider open at night. 3 x false fire alarms during the night. The unit is rather run down for the price we paid.

We had a great stay at Aston in Waikiki! The location is absolutely fantastic – just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The room came with a well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own breakfasts – a big plus for us. We were very impressed with the eco-friendly approach in the bathroom: instead of small plastic bottles, all toiletries were provided in large refillable containers – including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even body lotion. They were refilled immediately when needed – bravo for sustainability! The beds were extremely comfortable, and the pillows were soft and cozy – not those hard, uncomfortable ones you sometimes find in hotels. We slept very well! We had three rooms, and the one on the 37th floor offered an absolutely stunning view! The air conditioning was quiet, which made sleeping even more pleasant. Special thanks to the front desk staff who fulfilled our request for a beautiful room for newlyweds – they were given a suite on the 37th floor with an amazing view. The couple was absolutely thrilled, and it made their stay truly unforgettable. Housekeeping came every few days, which wasn’t a problem for us – the place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. When we reported a flickering light in the bathroom, it was fixed within minutes by the maintenance staff. Overall, a wonderful experience and a great value for the location in Waikiki. We would definitely stay here again!

Low garage, unfortunately our Jeep Wrangler could not park, but there were spaces on the street.

Very good location. Staff were efficient & responded quickly.. Our self-contained unit was better than we were expecting. We had just come from a very expensive resort up the other end of Wikiki, this place was less than half the price & 110% better in all areas. Very happy would definitely recommend.

Sometimes a long wait for the lifts as there are 36 floors. Maybe one lift dedicated to the lower floors would help. Only a small issue, but the kettle & toaster need updating.

Our apartment was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of four adults. We received an upgraded room for which we were extremely grateful! Parking next door was very convenient.

The lifts were slow - there were only four and one was out of service the entire time we were there. One day there were only two operating lifts for a very large complex.

I took my Mom and daughter for a trip to Hawaii for Mom’s 80 birthday. I decided to book this hotel because it is a suite with a kitchen. It worked out extremely well for us. We had a wonderful time on the island.

Of course I understand the environmental impact of cleaning every day and I agree that it is not necessary. I did find that every 3 days was a bit of a stretch but we did it. The toilet paper was not given out freely and we had to ask. Same with the coffee. But they were very kind at the front desk and there was no extra charge. The kitchen is rather dated but functional- the sink stopper got stuck after doing dishes but maintenance was able to get it out. We wanted to use the oven but there was nothing to put the food on (ie baking sheet) so we had to ask. There was a fire alarm one afternoon and when I called the front desk to ask if we should evacuate, I was told that they cannot tell me what to do and I have to make the decision for myself. Hmmm. Never heard that one before.

Since we had arrived early morning from Australia the staff managed to organise an early check-in which was deeply appreciated. Easy access to Waikiki Beach and dining facilities.

No complaints

A few minutes away from beach, restaurants/food trucks, bus stop as well as the highway to access the rest of the island. Close by to Zoo and Diamond Head. Conference center is about 30min walking away, so a good walk but feasible (there is also public bus connecting the two) Room was perfect, exactly as shown in pictures - we had the 1 bedroom sea view apartment located on the last floor (which gave us amazing view to the ocean/park/city). Kitchen was well equipped with pots/plates/dishes/glasses/utensils as well as cleaning supplies. Also there is a full stove/over, refrigerator and coffee machine. There was a living room area with bed sofa/table and TV. Bathroom was clean and well equipped (although we run out of soap and was never refilled by the housekeeping, which is every 3 days) - we had always fresh towels. Bedroom, in our case, had a king bed, closet and a 2nd TV. Room and hotel were clean and staff polite and relative helpful (we had issues with parking but could not provide further assistance). There is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel (internal connection) and provides special prices to hotel guests. Room prices were very good - lower than neighboring hotels compare to offered room status. Small market store located in the building was closed, so we did not check it, but there are many store nearby. Also the hotel has a gym and bbq patio (we did not use any of the two) and a swimming pool on the 6th floor (clean and easy to use but closes at 9pm).

potentially the last floor is a bit noisy due to the ventilation systems on the rooftop, but unsure and worth for the amazing views

We loved the location. Walking distance to the new Target and Food Market. Easy to get to the beach, with loads of places to eat and drink. The room was very spacious and comfortable - bed was a descent size. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Very pleasant stay over all. Will definitely be back. The staff were amazing ! I hope I spell her name correctly - Agathe was fantastic. Always smiling and greeting us, very professional.

House keeping can be improved. The fire alarms went off every single night of our stay. That was annoying.
