First, the staff were amazing, second, the rooms were clean, and the hotel is near a beach access, although under construction during this visit. Breakfast staff, also super amazing, kept everything fresh, clean, and filled. Can't forget to mention the housekeeping staff, they did a wonderful job taking care of us.

The breakfast sitting area is kind of small, also I'm not a fan of eggs and cheese, other than that, there wasn't much we didn't like.

I loved the update. I would stay again. All tho there were some issues I had water from showering everywhere 😩 in the bathroom. The shower was great except in one night I used all the towels. However, yes, I could get more. The toilet almost over flooded. So I went asked for maintenance, but there was no one in the evening. Regardless, I fixed the issue:] I would like to stay one more night... we will see. I totally loved it . I picked the wrong vacation. Weather was ugly. But on the good side, every employee was great. The Manger was a plus. I will still again .walking distance to Dollar General and Blackbeards. I totally give it a 10 because everyone was helpful. Thank you to the general manager. And the rest of the employees. Keep up the great job.

No maintenance at night.

It was walking distance to the beach. On the main strip with shopping and restaurants.

There was some staining on the ceiling and on the lamp shades in our room . It looked like some food or drink splatters. The bathroom wasn’t as welcoming as I would’ve liked. If 4 people are staying there should be enough towels to accommodate each guest. In order to get more towels you must take used ones to front desk to get more. There were also no soaps or shampoos in the mounted dispensers. I just went and purchased my own towels for my own convenience.

This is my second time coming to the Best Western in padre Island. It's in walking distance to the beach. My first was this year, June 4th through the 10th. My second was October 15th through the 21st. The hotel has always been clean and smells good. You can tell the staff works hard taking care of the rooms hallways and the hotel. Both times I have come. The staff has been amazing. Raul, the manager, is a people person. He walks around the hotel.  He makes sure everyone is doing well and there are no issues. If there are any, he will address them and resolve them quickly. Karina is the day shift front desk manager. She is friendly and personable and will enjoy talking with you. She also takes care of any concerns you might have. She will give you suggestions on where to go on the island too. Ted is the mid shift front associate. He is friendly. He is able to help you with any of your needs as well. This hotel has a free breakfast that is good with a variety of food. There are two people I come to know, Liz and Nestor, both are very good staying on top of things keep the food coming.  They will always greet you as you are severing yourself with a smile and help you in any way. I liked: that the room had plenty of outlets and lights. The sink/ counter was really nice and useful. The window shade kept out the bright light, but still allowed me to see outside. The hotel breakfast was really good!

A lot of the interior fixtures and furniture are new, but there are others is in disrepair. Once those are replaced, this place will be a 10++++

The hotel was clean and close to a condo that family was at.

They were not pet friendly, even for our small Maltipoo. I understand bigger dogs (Labs, German Sheppard, etc.) but this is smaller dog. I would not usually take a dog but we were leaving back to work out of state after that stay, so we had no choice.

Prompt & friendly employees at front desk. Shout out to Steven who quickly accomodated our requests.

Showers had conditioner, shampoo, & body wash dispensers however they were empty. The breakfast offered from 7a-10a was shut down by 950a during our stay.

The beds were comfortable. The staff was nice. The pool was clean.

There were no towels in the room upon arrival. Basic breakfast. Not that I didn't like, but just for awareness. As soon as you check in, go and put the parking permit on your vehicle. There is a towing truck checking as soon as the sun goes down.

The staff were great, helpful, friendly & accommodating. The room was large, clean & comfortable.

I struggled to find any nearby restaurants and bars.

Very nice and comfortable hotel..hot tub jets weren't working but still enjoyed the stay..was nice to be able to walk to the beach it being so close..lady that checked me in was very sweet and friendly

The young lady working the breakfast carried on with me over an incident where she had upset me at another establishment the day before which i felt was very unprofessional
