Villa Deva Resort This is a small expensive hotel in Sathon city area. It is a two-story villa. Rooms are well designed and functional. Hotel pool area is beautiful and there are two big pools with clear water. ( 16 m x 8m and 75m x 5m ). The personnel are nice and ready to serve. The location is near the Blue line Metro but its is not easy to get a taxi in that small street.

Drawbacks: The breakfast quality varied too much. The buffet food was cold even if it was supposed to be warm. They served prepared portions without extra charge, but for instance omelets and rice and noodles were cold. We had a severe drain smell problem in our room. The hotel was immediately willing to change it. The hotel is overpriced. Restaurant was serving dinner, but there were no hotelgests eating and the restaurant was empty all evening. It is clear that with no customers it is impossible to maintain any quality level. So we had to eat out every night. On some nights they arranged wine tasting events with customers outside the hotel.

Like a sophisticated resort in the center of Bangkok. Fantastic pool, very comfortable rooms. Good restaurant for lunch and dinner - reasonably priced. Although a relative haven of ease and peace, there is a large buidlding being constructed which does introduce quite major construction sound from 8am to 6pm.

Intelligent to have an HDMI connection for the wall mounted TV but stupid not to have any power outlet anywhere nearby - and not near the work desk. Hot water was not effective for a day or more although once guests notified, they fixed quickly. But why did nobody in housekeeping note the problem first? Breakfast looks interesting but is over-engineered and a request for aimply scarmbled egg on toast still coes with a lot of addons not requested (sausage, tomato, avocado). It's like the chef wants to impress. Requested a quiet room with king bad which it seems was never read or ignored. They did correct the error when I raised it and the attention to guest comfort was extremely good.

Scale and size of the resort is intimate and feels personal.

No lounge chairs on deck at the swim outs. Gymnasium non existence.

Perfect location, central and quiet. The service is beyond imagination, we are talking here on an A+ staff and service. The shower is amazing and the best bed we have ever had :)

If you are a smoker, this is not the hotel for you. Smoking is prohibited in all the hotel areas, including in your own private balcony in the room (!!!). That was the only thing that bothered me, but if you want to enjoy Bangkok legally plants 🪴, you’ll have to go smoke in the street.

Everything was perfect! Really nothing to complain! We enjoyed our stay very much.

The breakfast is clearly not at the good level, choice and quality belie expectations for this kind of hotel. Cocktails were not good and the staff of the evening not welcoming

Low level buildings and easy access to swimming pool and lounge area. Food was excellent, gymn was good and not busy in mornings.when we used it All staff very attentive and reception manned 24h. Felt like an oasis returning from crazy Bangkok traffic.

Only a la carte egg dishes for breakfast - would prefer a simple egg bar

Everything was beyond our expectation I particularly want to mention all staff from those who cleaned the room to the waitressing staff and supervisors These are the ones who make an organisation and all were very pleasant making us feel welcome and you should be proud of every last one of them

We liked the kindness of the staff, very attentive and helpful. The traditional Thai style of the hotel creates a feeling of "zenitude." The food was excellent. The smell of the trees in the courtyard was lovely. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and peaceful yet centrally located.

Plastic bottles should be removed. Maybe the staff could work less hours.

Beautiful, modern hotel, with nice-sized rooms and helpful staff. Although we thought we booked a pool room, we did not and ended up on the second floor. It was nice to see the rooms on the first look all had pool access.

The 20 min walk to locate the metro along a very busy road with a narrow sidewalk. Nothing to hold on to in the shower (no shower bar). No desk or chair to use a laptop. I took a balcony chair and brought it into the room, and used the table in front of the TV. There were only 2 chairs on the balcony and no table to place your drink. The bar was outside and only had fans for cooling. Very uncomfortable.
