Everthing! We were having a difficult time at an Airbnb that had no hot water, soap, Internet, and the car we rented from the host had no speedometer, the back window wouldn’t stay up and had a little piece of paper shoved into it to keep it up, but it didn’t work. We were on a very steep hill the car stalled and lost power steering we almost had a fatal crash. At least the e brake worked! We were bound to a two day minimum stay and we got out of there as quickly as we could. We checked out El Navigante looking for a place to stay. That’s when we met Nania. We knew from the moment we met her that this was the place we wanted to stay. She was friendly, knowledgeable, gave us a map right away and told us about all the wonderful beaches as we love to snorkel. We were rattled by our BNB experience but within moments of talking to Nania, it all went away, She was our angel. The rooms were clean, the bed was great, and the view from our balcony was exceptional. Gratitude to all of the staff at El Navigante both in the hotel and the restaurant. I loved the ease of checking in and out and how even when you check out you can store your bags. The location is perfect! Close enough to get everywhere but far enough for some privacy. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the view from our rooms was beautiful. The hot water in the shower was a luxury after staying in places that didn't provide hot water. Great price and the restaurant is really good. Would definitely stay here again.

In one of the rooms the shower head didn't work so we had to use the handheld. At one point there was barely any water pressure. Really not that big of a deal.

Very centric location, at walking distance from bakeries, restaurants and convenience stores. The room is very clean, comfortable, and has a beautiful view(2nd floor). The staff is very nice and diligent. We loved that it had parking since that’s an issue at other properties on the island.

We loved everything about the property, just a recommendation for fellow coffee lovers, the room doesn’t have a coffee maker so ask for one in advance. We learned that when we arrived, asked for it and they were very diligent to provide one for us.

I liked how easy check-in and check-out was. We arrived early in the morning, walking distance from the ferry, stored our luggage in the provided and secure compartments, went ahead and enjoyed Culebra and by the check-in time with no need for human interactions, got our keys from a lock box and headed to a clean, perfectly spaced room for two, good & cold air conditioner, comfortable bed, tv with netflix, nice and quiet, we would definitely stay again.

Maybe an earlier check-in at 3 pm, but all in all, it was a great experience.

They found a letter that had fallen out of my bag that was very important. And they kept it and I was able to retrieve it.

The shower thermostat was way off! Burning hot water or cold. I didn’t bug out bc I stayed one night and it was late when I was showering and it’s pointless to ruin everyone’s night for one night. But overall super clean great views.

The staff was helpful and nice (Carly) and the room was what we needed it to be: a place to shower after a beach day and a safe place to sleep. The location is great, the ferry was a few minutes away and the best restaurant in town was right across the street (Zaco’s tacos). A good plus: lockers to put our luggage before checking in and after check out.

The location is ideal - you can easily walk to local restaurants and even to the ferry very easily. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There are some lockers to keep your luggage, but they tend to fill up so just note you might not always get one. But very convenient. The staff was super helpful, and they even went above and beyond to help me retrieve a lost item left behind after I left. Appreciate that so much!

I had some trouble with the lock on my door - it took a bit to get it to shut correctly. As a woman traveling alone this tends to make me a little nervous, but other than that everything was great.

I loved the location the hotel was in. Super central to "el pueblo" and many restaurants, including the one next to the hotel. Loved all the amenities that were near and, even that we did not need it at this time, the hotel had parking space for any rentals.

The space of the room but not an important issue since we went to Culebra to have fun at the beaches.

Some little details: bathroom curtain need to be change or clean in the bottom part. Also, I would like chairs in the back balcony to see the bay. Sometimes in the night people that visit front restaurant leave the car in the middle and you can’t go. So be carefully if you have to leave the island and don’t have time to wait and found the car owner.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect, a short 2-3 minute walk from the ferry straight up the road. Self check in was very convenient and our room was a good size and very clean. The bathroom was huge, bed was super comfy, and the a/c was nice and cool. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing. Right on the water, awesome, friendly service, and excellent food; the spicy crab appetizer was to die for. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Culebra.

My only small disappointment was no coffee maker in the room but there were several shops within a couple of blocks that open early for breakfast and coffee.
