The nicest staff anywhere. Super clean and organized resort with fun for the kids at the game room and water park, which was soooo fun even for mom. Palomino island was beautiful and a huge bonus. Lobby was gorgeous. Views were gorgeous. Landscaping was gorgeous.

Could've used more healthy food options for kids than the normal carb heavy foods. Wish there was also more fresh fruit and veggie options. Felt I gained 10lbs on the trip. ;) Wish horses were available to ride on Palomino. Left a sweatshirt on Palomino right in front of the staff building but they didn't keep it in lost and found, which was the only time the staff didn't exceed expectations.

We loved the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the property. It was extremely convenient to the surrounding area where we could eat off property. Loved the weight room and Oats the açaí and juice bar. The rooms at the marina were beautiful. We did two nights here which was more than enough. Resorts are great but there’s so much more to see and do, don’t spend it all your time here.

The cost of the food and drinks. The loud construction. The self parking was a pain. If you’re in good shape just walk and get your steps in. It’s a huge property and after coming from a small B&B I think it was just too many people. No fault of the property but just something to consider.

Incredible property with breathtaking views! We did not want to leave. Resort has so many perfectly thought of amenities. the restaurants, water park, pools, private island trip. we are definitely coming back.

bathrooms in the brisas wing were outdated and there was poor bathroom ventilation which made the room humid.

Great stay at El Conquistador!!! First time my wife and I visited PR and we loved it. Hotel was a great location, beautiful views, great service, friendly staff. We will return! When we checked into our room we had a slight problem with construction noise. We brought it to the attention of the manager Lillian and she promptly offered us new room but we loved the room we were in. There was no more construction noise for the remainder of our stay. Thank You!!

My wife and I are great swimmers and 25yr master scuba divers, on the Palomino Island they have swim restrictions which seemed a little to restrictive. We understand overall guest safety so didn't really complain but that was our only issue. When we tried to swim to a reef outside the swim zone they blow whistles to make you come back inside their comfort zone.

Friendly staff, everything was clean and the amenities and facilities are great. It is one of the best hotels in PR. Loved the water park. Will definitely be coming back.

They need to remodel the bathrooms.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. Came for a family vacation and my family had a great time. There was something for everyone to do. The rooms were clean and cozy. They had entertainment downstairs every night. Loved the private island/beach.

The only thing that I didn’t love was the food. There were many options but none of the ones I tried was very good. Def gave mid resort food which was a shame. We had the kids so didn’t want to go off the resort. Just wish the options were better. And honestly for the price I was breakfast at least was included. Regardless, I would stay again.

Food was good at each location. Acai bowl place was delicious, and their lattes are so smooth. The Palomino Island smoothie bar had delicious options that I am still dreaming of recreating at home. Highly recommend the little taco bar, the whole family enjoyed their food. Rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Our bed was made every morning and the towels were replaced. Pools were clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The beds were very uncomfortable. I experienced a lot of back pain each morning. The ferry situation exiting the island is a problem. After speaking with others (coworkers) who have stayed there, it was a problem for them as well. With the cost of the vacation, funding should be available to fix the hour or hour and a half wait for a ferry to come back to the main island. They say it's every 30 minutes but that is far from reality. Palomino Island was beautiful, but there was a lot of trash in the surrounding areas (trees, bushes etc) including the water. My husband pulled out a full chain and anchor and brought it to the towel stand. The next day he found a long chain link fencing piece. Thankfully we didn't get hurt.

Spacious rooms and bathroom. Beautiful views of the ocean and nearby islands. Good options for restaurants. Great swimming pools, and pool bar. Comfortable beds and pillows. Well located. Very nice spa.

Short of staff. Very slow service everywhere (reception, restaurant, etc). Staff is either new or lacks training, in several occasions they didn’t know how to answer simple questions and needed to go find out from others. At arrival check in person in front desk was dry and unhelpful. Others are very nice! Just lack knowledge/training.

The views and the landscape were spectacular! It is located on the side of a cliff with the ocean view on one side and the beautiful golf course on the other. PR, in general, is not known for great customer service, but the staff here was great! Eveeyone was attentive and friendly, even the grounds keepers and maintenance personnel. If i am not mistaken, this is an independently locally owned hotel, which makes the service level even more impressive. There are ample swimming pools and each one more beautiful than the last and all overlooking the ocean. Pool tables, tennis, table tennis, and boat trips to "Palamino" their private island was a fun 15-20 minute ride. The island was beautiful and serene. There are plenty of free loungers with umbrellas and you can rent jetskis .There is also a restaurant and a convenient store, oh! And clean rest rooms! At the hotel, there's a buffet or a la carte breakfast at "Ventanas"and there were several other restaurants on sight. We ate at the buffet daily and at the Mexican and the poolside restaurant a few times. The food and service were good. I had been here before years ago when it was Wyndham and liked it then....I love it now!

No surprise, restaurants were pricey, which is often the case at hotels. But we knew the area, so we were able to venture out a few times for dinner.

Private beach and water park were reasons I booked this location for teenage kids. Also received great reviews.

The food wasn’t the best. I was expected much better food. The dining dine restaurant upstairs the best meal we had. Venetta was the worst- including breakfast and dinner. The last night my neighbors made loud noise and music from 12 midnight until 4 am. I called security at 1:30 AM. I would hop this caliber up report would have security down halls often to handle these things. Sad way to end a good vacation. My family and I got no sleep at expensive cost.
