The location of the property was not ideal

I nearly didn't book this due to the previous reviews but if you are a traveller used to good 3 star guesthouses then it should work for you. If no one at reception ring bell and stick your head into restaurant (left hand door) for help. 30 stairs in total to my room on top floor. Aircon. Hot water (give it a few minutes) with good pressure. Microwave, fridge (check its turned on), comfortable mattress. Had TV, hot plate and coffee maker but I did not use. Breakfast bench with chairs. Limited kitchen utensils. I stayed a Friday and Saturday night and all was quiet. Rooster started at 7.15am but not sure I would have heard him if I wasnt on balcony. On site restaurant with reasonable food options - no complaints re quality. Spacious modern room. Functional bathroom. Stayed in Room 212. Small convenience store 75 metres away and gas station directly across from it with drinks, snacks, and small selection of takeaway hot food. Major Pueblo supermarket an 8 minute walk away. Local safari bus comes past front door although it is also an interesting/comfortable/not hilly but longish walk into town.If you are looking for a resort type getaway feel then this is not for you and there are other options at much higher prices per night. But if you are watching your dollars then i found it a great option.

The restaurant is fair. Its small and loud.It could be better if they did not have the loud people playing Dominoes.

rooms were clean and recently updated, bed was comfortable, best suited for our needs of a place to stay for a night prior to flying,,, location was close to airport and walking to distance to a couple restaurants. Staff were very nice and helped arrange transfer to airport,, Overall a pleasant stay

Steep entrance was tough and difficult for those with walking difficulties, tricky to haul heavy bags to the rooms Shower had very little hot water. There was no breakfast included, which is fine but it would have been nice to have a basic coffee machine since there was nothing close by.

Carrying your luggage up and down the steps. Steep easement between road and hotel. A/C was weak. Weak water pressure.

needs more renovation, towel racks in bathroom, cups or glasses in room, new towel rugs, hand towels, the music playing until 2 AM right below our room, no one at the front desk at 7 AM
