The staff were very attentive, almost always assisting us with the doors when my partner needed to exit in her wheelchair. The rooms are spotless and the location is very close to the city. The air conditioning is also very good (and controllable) and is a welcome respite from the heat outside after a long day of exploring the city.

While the hotel and its staff are fantastic, the budget nature of the hotel unfortunately attracts some less considerate guests. Late at night, it's common to hear people talking loudly, playing music on their phones, and watching TV in their rooms at a high volume. The lack of carpeting in the hallways exacerbates the noise, making it easy to hear guests even from several rooms away as the sound echoes down the corridor. Despite this, I've stayed at 'Hotel 81 Premier Hollywood' many times because of the excellent value and quality of the rooms and staff. However, the noise from other guests has consistently been an issue. This could be mitigated if the hotel installed door-bottom sweeps or seals, as much of the noise comes from under the doors rather than through the walls.

The access to public transport (MRT/Bust ). Transport can be very expensive in Singapore, however, the city has one of the best public transport system I’ve ever seen. The hotel is within 2 minutes of the Bus station.

The room is bit small. It doesn’t really give you enough space for movement especially the shower 😀 it’s a bit small.

Verry friendly staff and good value for the money.

The showerwall had moisture on it and it smelled a little stale in the room.

MTR station is nearby, just 15 min. walk. Receptionist staff was friendly, check-in & check-out without any hassle.

Room size was quite small but it may be standard in Singapore. Bathroom ceiling shows mould development, some noise on corridor late in the evening and early morning was quite disturbing.

The location is excellent because its just one bus to Bugis and City Hall. I also would like to commend the housekeeping for keeping the room very clean and in proper order. A 250 meter walk from the hotel, I can already be in the Geylang district with lots of food options! I will definitely recommend this property to my friends.

I have stayed for a night and I have no complaints at all. The room was clean, the staff very kind and even though it's located in busy area, I felt safe at all times. Location was really good too cause there’s a bus stop at the end of the street that has all of the busses you need come by. Going back to the area is easy too. MRT is a little far though. Walkable but it’s probably a 10 min walk.

Everything is perfect, except the room washroom size. it's a very small washroom. I hope you can improve on that.

The surrounding is not the best, but that wasn't a big deal for us, still enjoyed our stay!

It was OC clean, like they change towels, mats and collect trash every day. Water bottles supplied everyday, too!

Getting there needs walking under the extreme heat if you decide to leave later in the day. There’s no direct transpo to it and you’d have to figure out your route to the nearest stop (opp the mosque near it) to avoid too much walking.

It was clean, had nice amenities available like a hair dryer and housekeeping was good - gave extra water, tea, coffee, strong wifi, location was ideal.
