the room was small but clean with a nice bed and fresh clean linen; the swimming pool was great, was nice to cool down after a long day of walking breakfasts were also great variety of western and asian food, freshly cooked and in abundance.

we did not have a wardrobe in our room, just a few hangers

The location is very good with 2 MRT stations and multiple bus stops very close. It's quiet, clean and friendly.

The rooms are small, which wasn't unexpected, but they are laid out in such a way that there really isn't any suitable location to keep two medium suitcases open for access. That is problematic.

All the staff were friendly and efficient. I had a twin room which was small but adequate. The breakfast offered was good with a decent amount of variety. The hotel is situated near to Rocher MTR which gives access to all of the main tourist sites and is very convenient. Close to Little India with some great food options.

The curtains were hanging off the rail. The toilet roll holder is in such an awkward place it's hard to reach. The chilled drinking water dispenser is in the toilet/shower room a few feet from the toilet, which is gross. No space to put wash bags and toiletries. No hooks to put towels or clothes when taking a shower.

This is a really nice hotel! The rooms are not very big but have enough space to store your stuff. There is a bathroom, a safe, airco, TV and a fridge. The beds are big enough and good The location is perfect. You can walk to Bugis shopping area (1 minute) but when you are a little fit and healthy you can walk also easily to f.e. Marina Bay Sands cause you never walk in the sun. You can cross the whole city under the cover of buildings and trees. The breakfast at the hotel is good. It is like everything in Singapore a mix between Asia and England. So don’t expect cheese or hagelslag on your bread, but there is bread , confiture and eggs and plenty of other things to choose from. And very nice little cakes to start the day with 😉 At last; what a nice and friendly staff for a Abigail city hotel! So this is a fine place to start your trip in Singapore

Great location, near enough to Bugis to reach it within a few minutes walk, but far enough to be quite peaceful. Really clean, good amenities and friendly staff. Also, it has a bidet.

Walls were thin and breakfast was meh.

Great central location, close to Bencoolen St and Little India and their respective MRT stations. Wonderful hot buffet Asian breakfast - noodles, rice, stir-fries - to set you up for the day. (The cereal option was limited to yellow and brown flakes.) The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ibis is a budget chain, so I wasn't expecting luxury. My twin room was small but clean, all that I needed for my two-night stopover. I think Styles is supposed to be the 'upmarket' end of Ibis, but the one on Bencoolen St, very close, has been recently renovated and seemed 'fresher'. Maybe the Styles on Albert St is due an upgrade. Anyway, a good option if you're passing through Singapore and can't afford the Raffles ;-)

No option for opening the windows, but I was on the ninth floor. The aircon always seemed too cold. I don't think hotel windows in this part of the world open as a rule, so this is a niggle.

The breakfast selection was really nice. They have a different menu every day and the food was always good. It is also good that they impose a $5 per 100g food leftover during breakfast so that people will be encouraged to finish their food. Staff are nice. Hotel is walking distance (3 minutes away) from Rochor MRT station which is the downtown line. There's a 711 convenience store downstairs, and another one across the street.

The bathroom corners and edges are dirty. And the floor is not clean because the first time the floor got wet, I wiped it with a paper towel and the paper towel became dirty black.

Very good location close to the metro station and to several bus stops. Very kind and responsive staff in the breakfast room, at room cleaning and at the reception desk. The hotel and the room were clean and offered good and quiet accommodation. The breakfast menu had a wide selection of Asian food, fruit and salads. The continental breakfast had limited choices and it was a little difficult for us as we stayed 9 nights. The breakfast room cannot accommodate large groups of people, as it was during our stay when a group of about 200 men had breakfast almost af the same time. In such cases I recommend to the management team to schedule such groups for the breakfast.

Top of our list would be the location! It was perfect. We had access to the nearest MRT, bus stops, shops and restaurants. Then there were the staff of the hotel who were really nice and made the check in and check out process smooth. And of course, the hotel's breakfast which we looked forward to everyday. Simple food yet scrumptious. Gave us the energy we needed to last till dinner so that we can actually go aroud and see Singapore. 😅 All in all, we had a wonderful stay at the Ibis Styles Albert.

The room was a bit too tight. We were a family of 3 adults and we each had a check in luggage and a hand carry luggage so the room was quite tight with all our stuff and us 3 adults. The shower too was quite small but it served it's purpose well.

Fantastic location, just a short walk to the MRT station and some great hawker markets. 7 eleven down stairs and across the road. Staff friendly and very helpful.

The room needs some hooks to hang bathroom towels to dry.
