All in all, I had a thoroughly pleasant stay at Megalos Hotel. However, I do feel it needs some modernising. The layout of the building is a bit pear-shaped: guests need to climb a huge flight of stairs to reach the front desk. The walls appeared to be on the thin side, as I could hear the couple next door having sex. Oh, well, all’s well that ends well. P.S. I would urge everyone not to miss Constanta’s main attractions: the vibrant Mamaia Beach and the once-famous, now-defunct Casino.

Everything perfectly functional, including the massage chair! Very comfortable bed, quiet, sound system with music dvd plugged in, hot water and heating, big and fluffy carpet everywhere. A great apartment for spending a peaceful and relaxing time! Thank you! Also pretty well positioned being in walking distance to beach and city center.

The feeling when you see the apartment is a sense of everything being used, morally deprecated. Despite everything is very clean, a bit of refactoring would be nice.

Excellent breakfast, very diverse, plenty of choices, with fresh veggies and fruits and meat & cheeses platter, on top of the hot cooked dishes. Cereals and sweets also available. Central location, close to good restaurants and near the beach. Bus stop right în front of the entrance, for an easy and quick ride to any spot within the city. Super friendly and helpful staff, very pleasant interaction, they're accomodating any request with a big smile. Will return for sure.

I liked the suite as it was spacious, nice furniture and a massage chair. The location was good, 7 minutes walk to the sea. Various and plenty consumables. Room was clean.

Bed lining did not seem clean although it didn't look used. I have asked for a replacement and they replaced it although it was middle of the night. The shower didn't work.

The hotel makes efforts to improve the services. Staff was nice and offered the possibility to open the door from the ground floor if needed. Very clean and the bed sheets were almost new. Comfortable mattresses. They provide with 2 access cards if necessary.

It would be great if the reception was located at the ground floor not at the first floor. It would be accessible for people with disabilities/babies. I don't understand why breakfast is served at the ground floor and the reception is at the first floor?! To enter the hotel one must climb uncomfortable stairs.

Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the sea, possible to find the parking, small supermarket and few restaurants. Staff is friendly, hotel rooms have a normal noise isolation. AC is working well. Check in and check out were very quick.

Cleanliness is not the best, furniture is old, view from the window was to another building. Breakfast are exists, but they are not delicious, which is for 3 stars hotel. Clothes dryer doesnt exist on the balcony.

The hotel is pretty close to the seaside and there is even a bus which can take you from downtown to the hotel. A couple of neighborhood markets nearby and a restaurant right next to the hotel. The employees at the receptions were very nice and polite.

The breakfast could have been a bit more diverse (e.g. multiple types of cheese and of bread) but it might be a personal preference so it did not impact my rating. Independent from the hotel conditions, the neighbors next door were very loud until morning and this ruined a bit the sleep but hey... it happens, people were just having fun.

The location was very good and the rooms were big and had all the necessary things. The stuff was very friendly and the breakfast was enough for us

We had two rooms boked, but in one of them smelled a bit of damp even though ee stayed all day with the window open. And it doesn’t have parking space, but we found one right next to the hotel

Big stairs at entrance- difficult carry luggage, Paid twice for hotel, because receptionist said that my transfer failled. After I contacted with my bank it became clear that it is reserved double payment. After long procedure of returning money ( it can take 16 days) Agree, it's not nice, Isn't it. No Constanta maps in hotel. I get wrong information about Sightseeing bus.

The hotel is nice and clean, the personnell is very nice, friendly and very helpful, the room is as it is shown in the hotel's photo in Booking, the location is perfect (app. 500 metres far from the sea), it is quite, you don't hear neighbours or noises from the street. It is perfect hotel for families with children, they put the breakfast in a basket that can be easily brought to the sea. When you go to the sea, near the hotel, there are many activities and games for children on the beach. You can have the breakfast also in your room or in a big room near the reception. If you have mobility issues, and cannot go up the entrance stairs, there is a lateral entrance which is accessible for wheelchair, ask to the reception and they will help you. A big thank you to all the personnel for their help and kindness.

Internet works well in the reception but not in the room, it is very weak and often does not work (we were on the 2nd floor). About the breakfast: you get some packaged cheese and ham, a prepackaged sweet snack (that children like), an apple, tea or coffee, jam, butter, honey, yogurt and bread for toast. What you get is very good if you want to bring it to the sea, but don't expect fresh cheese or ham, different fruit or different type of bread. It would be nice to have a toaster for the bread. From our room we could see a terrace (where the sign with the hotel's name is located) but it was not accessible. Last small thing: there is air conditioning in the room but it works only when you are in the room (the room's card should be inserted in the room to function).
