Great room, suite, room 11. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Pleasant staff and nice choices at breakfast time. Excellent location, couldn't be better in that respect.

A small thing, but outside the control of the hotel. Because it is located beside a couple of bars, there was some noise outside up to midnight, and again at some stage during the night when tables were being dragged around for cleaning up, but in all honesty it didn't really keep me awake

Everything is very good at this hotel, we come back every time with great pleasure and we always feel very good. The staff is very kind, the food is very good, the rooms are very spacious and clean, and the minibar is full of everything. You can walk to many of the important sights in the city.

Parking spaces are very limited and cannot be reserved. Although the beach is a few meters away, access is via a stairs that is very tiring to climb back. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy at night from traffic and parties in the area.

What a gem! Gorgeous hotel, with a big room and then an extra room with dining table and more space. It was very quiet in our room - no noise from outside or in the hotel. Room was very clean and staff were delightful and happy to go the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast was our first meal in Romania and the food was beautifully prepared, with a good selection to choose from. Again the restaurant staff were very pleasant. The location of the hotel is perfect; 200m or less to a beautiful sandy beach.

From the second day of our stay we started planning our next booking at Cherica. We've stayed at 4 stars hotel in Constanța before but the staff at Cherica made the difference: from Mrs Cati at the reception to the waiters serving breakfast and the cooks, everyone was smiling and willing to help. I even had a suprise for my birthday. The rooms are very clean and for the a la carte breakfast you have plenty of options to choose from. Between the hotel and the beach there are only a few steps and around 160 stairs but it's worth it. Another plus are the parking slots on the very next street. If I were to make some suggestions: at least for one of the room's windows to have mosquito nets and to improve bathroom ventilation. Looking forward to going back.

I have recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is awesome, situated right near Modern Beach and Neversea Beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast menu is very varied, providing a great start to the day with plenty of delicious options. The staff is incredibly friendly and polite, always ready to assist with a smile.

However, I was disappointed that, despite having late checkout included in my booking, the staff couldn't accommodate this request. This was unfortunate, as it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Despite this inconvenience, I do not regret my decision to stay here. The positive aspects of the hotel, including its great location, excellent facilities, and friendly staff, made up for this shortfall.

Lovely big rooms. Very clean with good facilities. Right by the beach with good value (70 lei per day) shaded sun bed hire. Very helpful staff. Restaurant is very good. Breakfast is a call order not a buffet so a very good fresh breakfast unlike the usual buffet but a bit slower if you are in a rush.

The steps to the beach are very long and steep. Easy down to the beach but a hard journey back. Not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

The room is spacious and nice. Everything was fine except for a little extra attention to cleaning, especially the bathroom.

Keeping mind webhad the most premium room available - For such an elegant hotel, it should be cleaner... like the windows (very dirty), and I know it's a main street, but they hadn't been clean in a while. The bathroom should have been impeccable. The toilet had urine marks. I had to disinfect it extra.

This hotel is located in a quiet side street an easy walk away from Ovidiu square where there are many cafes and restaurants. It’s close to the Art Museum. It’s also an easy walk to the fish restaurants down on the harbour side. Our room was spacious with good storage, a comfortable bed and seating. Breakfast offered various freshly-cooked hot options as well as fruit/pastries etc but the sliced white bread (Mother’s Pride, for the British reader, is dire.) Coffee freshly made to order, always better than a push- button machine.

As older travellers, we regret the lack of grab handles to make climbing over the side of the bath safer. There are apparently no walk-in showers available.

The hotel is up to standard and offers a complete package of facilities for those who need a comfortable place to stay in the city center, close to the old town. The rooms are large, bright enough and most of them have a suite layout, with a separate dining area. This is given by the fact that it was set up in a historical building that was refunctioned, not built as a hotel, and as such has the advantage of offering more privacy and silence than most. Due to it's position, room size, well trained staff and it's tasteful if a bit sober design, gives off more of a "professional" vibe as opposed to a holiday one, which many may find desirable. That being said, being in the immediate vicinity of the beach and close to the marina , those searching for a comfortable and quiet weekend getaway will find it ideal.

There are few options for parking in the area, so finding a spot might be a problem, especially on the weekend. However, everything worth seeing in Constanta is well within walking distance, so it shouldn't pose a problem if you park a bit further.

breakfast was very good, ocation of hotel excellent above the beach and on main tourist drag. with windows open at night you can hear all that is going on in the city which could be quite exciting at ties. Or just keep window closed. Rooms are huge and modern and great staff.
