I enjoy staying at Astoria because it's right in the middle of the city, on the lovely Lăpușneanu street, close both to Palas and Copou. The room I was given was great, with a big bed and a view over the street. As a bonus, it's facing in a way that allows sun light to shine through the window in the morning, which was great because one morning the sky was clear. The staff were always polite and welcoming, which I appreciated.

There were small things. A little more attention to detail would be good because sometimes it's these details that leave an impression. But overall I was happy with my choice.

The main selling point of this place is its excellent location, right in the heart of Iași in Unirii square in the pedestrian zone combined with its very decent price/quality ratio given the location. This was my third visit and will definitely come back again (if I find rooms available, that is). It's in top 3 best locations to crash in Iași if you're in town for a couple of days, especially with work and you don't have a fancy budget. I did not try the breakfast, but the coffee was okay.

The beds could be wider, tbh.

the lack of a real closet, the lack of enough towels (the small face towels and the foot towels were missing), there was a lot of dust in the corners of the bathroom, a sign that someone wasn't doing their job properly, the toilet didn't even seem to have been disinfected...

Good hotel just 50 m. from the central square Piata Unirii and about 600 m. from thr railway station (or take tram 3,7 (counter-clockwise) or tram 6 (clockwise) from the railway station). Good room and very helpfull staff (no problem checking-in a bit early). Very good breakfast.

The location is confortable - near many city attractions. The staff was kind. As the temperature dropped, they connected the heating system. Breackfest was good as well.

The room was quite good, but the carpet not very clean. Probably the peoples left recently and it was smoked.

The room I stayed in was very spacious, with high ceiling and large windows. It also had big curtains to keep away the street light. This time there was no noise from other rooms, so both nights were quiet. The staff was friendly and helped when I had questions. Even the cleaning lady one morning was warm and polite when she asked if I needed anything. As a general observation, I feel the place has a lot of potential with its location and everything. But it feels like they're not aware of it.

One morning the hot water was rather lukewarm. I waited a bit for it to get hotter, but it didn't. That's about it.

The location is good, I appreciated the fact that they let me check in in the early morning, it was important cause i had come a long way and arrived at 6 am. I really appreciated that they let me an iron.

There was barely any warm water at the shower; there seemed to be no remote for the air conditioning

The location is OUTSTANDING, from the Hotel you can easily reach the best options and attractions in town. Personnel is really kind and polite, always ready to help. Free WIFI is ok.

The Room itself is fair but if I may I would suggest to improve the bed standards to meet european ones. Cable TV is a bit poor in terms of italian channels and somehow difficoult to manage (a list of available channels would help)

The staff is incredibly friendly, The little beautiful lady checked me on the first day and offered her pizza with me because I was too late. Everyone is very friendly and helpful

Internet is very slow on the second floor

the staff were really good at english, which helped me alot. the breakfast contained a big variation of foods to choose between. and the hotel on its own were like in the center of the center of Iasi.

the floot might have been softer to sleep on then then bed. no confort at all. atleast for me when i have a good soft bed at home. the AC in my room worked but Water spilled out of it when it got turned on and i had to have a bucket standing below it to collect all the water. that got irritating fast.
