Friendly staff and a lovely pool. Nice room for the money paid. Good air conditioning in the room. Reasonable choice at breakfast. Location about 15 minute walk from main area of the city.

No plug in bathroom sink and shower head not fixed to the wall. Also, a fabric shower curtain which could have been cleaner. Bread at breakfast could be fresher. Obviously no fault of the hotel, but the entire area surrounding it (roads, parks etc) are being dug up which doesn't make for very pleasant arrival or departure from the hotel. This will be continuing for many months according to the notifications.

The outdoor pool is smaller but the temperature was perfect and having a pool bar is always a plus, really nice and relaxing; the spa was bigger than expected although not used when we wanted to try it out so all saunas were off, however the staff were nice enough to help turn then on so we could use them after waiting about 30 min. The food was good, we had a really nice dinner and for breakfast a decent selection of food and coffee/beverages (you could easily find something you liked although not the best variety)

Although the room was big enough, clean, had everything you needed, the mattress was not very comfortable and I woke up with a slight back pain (fixed it with a nice swim in the pool after so I can’t complain too much)

Nice room, Ac is good we had very hot days. Breakfast was ok, the fresh croissants were very good. The pool is nice, it has a nice space to relax in the sun and it 's really warm, sufficient space to swim :D. The location is great, near a park and 20 min walk from Piata Unirii. There are some good restaurants near the hotel also.

Cleaning is not so great, they don 't change the towels, and the mini bar was not filled, we had only one water, we asked for more but they forgot. The personell looks tired all the time.

The staff needs to be trained in order to be more professional. We booked a room and asked for a late checkout which was confirmed by the property. However, when we arrived we were told that the room is booked and the late checkout will no longer be possible. I told the hotel staff that this is not my issue and they should handle it and find a solution as the late checkout was crucial for us being with a baby. In the end they handled it and everything was ok but if they were truly professionals I shouldn’t have known these issues to begin with. They should have been solved in the background.

The pool was great and public areas were nice. Good breakfast.

How it holds on to four stars is a mystery: beyond threadbare carpets, a smallish room that hadn’t seen any improvements in decades, etc.. The staff was quite nice, and did speak quite good English, but asking to get towels for the pool was ineffective. Others had towels and robes, but we couldn’t figure out how they got them. some things were just strange., although despite this, we did enjoy our stay

There was a lot of space in our apartment. The air conditioning was working properly and we really needed it as during our stay there was a heatwave.

We left early one morning and the breakfast usually starts at 8 AM. We were given a box with a cold breakfast but I would have preferred something else than a sandwich. They should think about early breakfast policy. Everywhere in Europe breakfast starts as soon at 6 AM and it can be served until 11AM.

The hotel itself and the room were very clean and relatively quiet. Everything is there in the hotel what you need. The breakfast was very nice and there were lots of choices for both meat lovers and vegetarians. It's lovely to see children programs. Staff was speaking English quite well. The location is good. The city centre was approx 15 mins walk. I would come back as it was a peaceful hotel and perfect size. It's not too small and not too big. The hotel has a special, peaceful atmosphere. Great for relaxing.

I would grade up the deluxe room next time we come as the bed in the budget room was not very comfortable, and there was no bath rope available. The sauna and the jacuzzi were close at the time we went, but it was not very inconvenient as it was at summer time.

Rooms and hotel could use some renewals. Room I booked is 4* but is more 2* … room is really ok but old. Breakfast is ok, we ate at 9, everything had to be re stocked. By the time they did that, everyone was done eating. So this could be better organized.

The swimming pool

The door and the window could be opened with difficulty.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are big and clean. Swimming pool and the jacuzzi are big and well maintained.

The furniture is old fashioned, not really vintage as they would want, but as long as it's clean, that's important. The price per night is too much for what they offer overall.
