The staff are exceptional: very helpful and so nice. Breakfast was good. Our first morning we had breakfast from the menu with buffet style for the other two. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was great. Location is also perfect for exploring the area. The hotel is like a museum and everytime we went to our room we noticed something.

Not something we didn't like and didn't really matter to us since it's just commonsense...noise from the square and street echoes off the buildings and I imagine would be loud especially if during peak season.

The mattresses were not comfortable. We couldn't get laundry service due to Easter Holiday. The hotel did not give clear instructions (despite me asking) for where to park my car and how to park my car. I didn't know the town and hotel were on top of the hill. It was ok for us to hike up to the hotel but I would have appreciated clear and detailed Instructions.

The room was very spacious and clean. The location was in the center of old town which made it very handy to explore the town and to enjoy the sights. They had a very nice breakfast with many options to choose from and also very good coffee. We ate at their restaurant one evening and enjoyed a very delicious meal there. Everything about this stay was perfect. The staff were all very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

LOCATION: The location was perfect to stay in Sighisoara, it is right in the castle, and we believe that it was an actual castle, looking at the interior. I am 192cm tall, so if you are close to it, watch your head, i felt a giant walking on the corridors and entering the room, apparently people from that century were not very tall :). Also, while we were there, there were 3 earthquakes in the region, and we didn't feel ANTYHING, so safety and comfort is awesome. Supermarket 900m away, restaurants and cafes right in or around castel/hotel, we actually had lunch in front of hotel... BREAKFAST: MON-FRI breakfast are on order, there is an actual person taking your order, SAT-SUN it is self service, we didn't know, so we sat and wait :D... PARKING: Parking is kind of available in front of hotel, only if you find a spot, otherwise, 300m down the street there is a paid parking, or supermarket parking about 900m away, we were lucky to get a spot right under the window. STAFF: we arrived later than we thought, around 3am, the hotel was opened but no one at reception, but they were awesome to leave a note and the key to the room, staff are very good and helpful people. PAYMENT: card payment is available almost everywhere, we used 0 cash COMs: staff responds to questions and inquires, great help

Hotel lists parking available, if there would not be parking in front, we would have to pay, don't know the price though, cause we were lucky I guess to get a parking under the window.

Of course, first of all, the citadel with its walls, small streets and magic air of medieval era. But, also, the people who live or work there are extremely kind, warm and polite. By all means, a place which you want to visit again.

I cannot say. But, something bothered me however. We wanted to see a documentary about Vlad Tepes at "Turnul Fierarilor" and it was all closed, in spite of the schedule posted. It was on Wednesday. But I have already forgotten this incident.

Lovely historical hotel in a great location. Decor in keeping with character of hotel. Bathrooms have been upgraded. There's a fridge in the room. The landings on each floor are uniquely decorated There's a lovely outside restaurant area. No airconditioning but there are fans in the rooms. No lifts but I would imagine it's to do with preserving the character of the building. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was ok but could be improved.

The building is historic, handsome, and in a splendid location. Staff is attentive and kind. It was nice to be able to pay on site and not early. Free breakfast was very convenient.

Well, it was 37° outside, and inside the room it felt the same. The fan they provided was helpful. Maybe a ceiling fan, too?

The parking wasn’t as expected, I had yo leave my car keys in reception so they moved my car in and out several times to let other cars in and out. It was fine, but it was different from what I had expected about that.

Very delicious food and the location of the hotel is perfect! I loved to walk around in the hotel, because of its interior. The old building is well preserved!

We were located in 107 room, which is above the restaurant. We had to close the window for awhile, because of the smells.

Loved my window view over the rooftops and the gothic looking vaulting. Felt like I was in an old wonderful medieval hotel. Loved the antiques and the dining room.

It was not adequately explained how difficult it would be to get car and luggage dealt with. There were steps everywhere even on the same level. They were very kind and let us bring our car up for unloading, but didn't explain adequately how to access that.
