The location is great and the staff is exceptionally nice.

The problem that they have some kind of renovation and it's not so comfortable. Also the issue with shared kitchen was very weird. The level of the kitchen is very low. The water pressure lacks.

The owners were very friendly and they had a gorgeous Shiba Inu dog which completed the stay. The rooms were really impressive in their quality and it was the best sleep I had throughout the whole trip. The bathrooms were clean and I really appreciated having aircon in the apartment. I really appreciated the communal kitchen too, as it came prepped with a filter coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a fun rotating table used in Chinese buffets. The views from the Japanese garden were exceptional and we enjoyed the owner's explanation of the work put into it.

It was all amazing, I have nothing bad or critical to say at all.

The furniture in this location is handmade by the owners of the hotel, and it looks amazing. I have stayed in the duplex, which was large and comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. This location has a common kitchen where we could cook and socialize with the other guests, which was also a very nice touch. There was enough parking space at the property for four cars, so I had no trouble parking.

My one qualm here is the location of the property, as it is up a hill from the city, but the walk is not too long (25 minutes).

It was a pleasure to retire to such a calm and tidy space each day. The fully-equipped kitchen made our homely meals a joy to prepare. The outdoor area definitely deserves special mention. The yard was spacious and beautifully kept, providing a wonderful setting for our afternoon board games. The large barbecue area was a hit as well, facilitating pleasurable barbecue sessions among friends. The property is in a very quiet area, which greatly contributed to the tranquility and peace of our retreat. In a more practical sense, the quietness meant undisturbed rest and unruffled mornings. In conclusion, our stay was dominated by the many positives more than the slight inconvenience. The host's welcoming attitude, the inviting communal spaces, and the calm surroundings have all been engraved in our memories. We look forward to revisiting this property next time we stop by Sighisoara, and we definitely recommend it to other travelers looking for a peaceful but enjoyable stay.

We noticed that the bathroom had no window and the fan was malfunctioning. This made air circulation somewhat problematic and limited fresh air access. On the brighter side, this was a small blight on an otherwise perfect stay.

Very unique and fun experience. The couple that owns it are very nice and the Japanese theme is really fun. It really adds to the experience. The rooms are multi-story which allows for a sitting room, a balcony and an upstairs bedroom. There is also a well equipped kitchen that you can use. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Casa Lily Japanese Retreat was absolutely lovely, the room was spacious, warm, extremely clean and decorated in an innovative and beautiful way. In a quiet neighborhood between the hills at the outskirts of Sighișoara, with an amazing view and a fully equipped shared kitchen and amazing garden. The hosts were friendly and welcoming people!

Great surreal place to be ! One of the kindest hosts we ever came across. They had a bottle of their own made alcoholic drink for us when we arrived and a big smile that we felt safe from the first seconds. It was super comfortable and clean . In the morning we had the perfect guest visiting us from the balcony and that was Jake the cat! Definitely recommend it to anyone passing by Sighisoara:) too bad we didnt have more time to spend there and enjoy the awesome scenery of the village!

Lovely design both indoor and outdoor. The view from the room was great. Great hospitality and more than affordable. You' ll find all the necessary amenities and more, like the garden sitting areas with a full outdoor kitchen and barbeque

The pillows must be replaced with some hotel style ones to provide decent support. I woke up with a stiff neck and driving back home only made it worse. Please make sure you take a note of this to prevent others from neck or back injuries. Otherwise, we loved everything there.

Location, v welcoming hosts, v helpful, beautiful accommodation, everything you need, clean, v special place. Rare to find such a romantic accommodation that gives you the impression you are really in Japan. The place was amazingly done by the owner himself and we appreciated all the finishing touches . 5 min away from Sighisoara citadel. We enjoyed our stay v much.

A very beautiful japanese styled home. I’m glad the owner stuck to his idea of building this house, because the results is amazing. We will definitely return in the warmer part of the year, to see the forest alive.

The living room chairs are a bit “sqeaky”, but that all fades in the background of the room decorations, which are superb!
