The hotel is great. It looks amazing with its wooden and vintage decorations. It is very close to the city center. The main restaurant has good food and the breakfast is wonderful. The bed is very comfortable and the room is quite big. Hotel has 3 sauna and one jacuzzi that might be a little small if more people want to use it at the same time. The hotel has a big private parking.

We stayed just one night but the reception at the front desk was really welcoming. Our room matched the photos and description, it was large and the air conditioning worked well.

At first glance, the bathroom looked nice, but in details, there were a signs of wear—water, stone, and the edges were scuffed, and the shower stall could definitely use a replacement, as it didn’t look like it could be cleaned thoroughly. Also, the shower door wouldn’t close properly. Breakfast was generous, but a better presentation would make the overall experience even more impressive. Parking can be a bit stressful when the hotel is full, so it’s best to arrive early if you’re driving.

The best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of the receptionist Madalin and the barkeeper/waitress. Madalin helped me out with multiple issues and language questions on several occasions. The architecture and interior design of the hotel is incredibly beautiful, the entrance hall, the breakfast room and my own room (incl. bathroom), every detail was aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast was abundant and very good.

I was a bit disappointed by the spa. It was much smaller than I had expected and both the sauna and the hot tub were not as hot as I would have liked them. Personally, I also prefer smaller and softer pillows than the large, thick one that was available.

I liked the room - very cozy and clean. A lot of room and nice furniture. The most i liked the cleanliness. Breakfast is crazy good. A lot of things to eat and where to choose from. SPA is clean and cozy as well. It`s small, but i loved it. I also had a nice massage (extra pay) which i enjoyed. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful all the time. I had an issue with the minibar (wasn`t freezing) and they fixed it on the same day i talked about it. I stayed there for a week and it felt like home and more.

I`m a TV person. I did not like that the TV was small and it was short on program schedule as well. Also it was very old and I could not even screen mirror my phone on it. Maybe something to think about in the future for the hotel.

The hotel is very good looking, the staff was amazing and helpful, free parking, the spa area is nice and the location is accessible. It would be great if the breakfast had a description of each food type so you know what you pick. Also the beds are comfortable but it would be even better if the bed were not 2 twin beds connected, or just make it in a way that you can’t feel the gap in the middle. All in all the stay was great, just some small details that would need some small touches.

The mercure is one of the last "real" (old-school) hotels and we had a wonderful stay in the standard double room. The room is around double the size of a standard hotel room nowadays. Very clean, a huge bed, a big cupboard, a wardrobe, a desk, bedside tables, a window with view on a castle (villa), a big bathroom with a big window with the same view. The breakfast buffet was good as well and everyone should find something to their taste. There was even soy and rice milk. Fresh fruits, cereals, seeds, yoghurt, fresh bread, cakes and warm food were provided among the usual ham and cheese. The spa area is great too, a jacuzzi and the sauna are great for relaxing. There is a massage option at a great price as well but I didn't have time to enjoy that.

Everything, before booking I knew this was going to be a great experience. Right from the moment you enter you feel this is a great hotel. Decoration is awesome. The rooms are beautiful and you feel at home. You can drink water from the tap. And the SPA is so nice, you only have to tell before on reception the time you want to go to the spa, which was ok. I recommend this to everyone going to Sighisoara, city centre is a few minutes beautiful walk from the hotel, be sure to go to the spa after getting back to the hotel in the afternoon!

Wonderful architecture, great service, big rooms and comfortable beds. Kind chef still prepared some food for our kids after the kitchen closed, thank you so much. 2 min walk to the center.

Airco was not coping with high temperatures, we slept very poorly during the first night, maybe also because apartment was at last floor, second night was slightly better as we left the airco on all day when we were out but still very hot.

The hotel is located very close to the fortress square, where all attractions can be found. The parking is spacious. My room was very large, especially compared to other hotels' rooms (~50 sqm). Staff is very polite, especially the staff from the a la carte restaurant.

Breakfast is on the average side, it could see a bit more diversity, but definitely not something to be concerned about.

The service was exceptional and professional. The staff are well trained in handling customer concerns. The facilities were clean and functional. The food that was served was delicious and healthy. Quite a lot of fruits and whole foods (eggs, bacon, sarmale, etc...) instead of proccessed foods (hot dogs, hamburgers, cereals, etc...). I liked the organized trip throughout the city with the tour guide. I also appreciated the wine tasting event with the gentleman from Moldova and their brand Purcari. These events were very informative and interesting.

The bed mattress was more stiff than i expected. It might help individuals who prefer to sleep on softer beds if they bring along a topper to supplement the hotel's beds, or if the hotel could offer toppers.
