The hotel manageress, Delfina, was very helpful, friendly and great to speak to. She set the standard for her staff to follow. Rooms facing inward to the garden and pool are the best. Handy for the airport and the beach is literally across the road. We were warned about the island being "cash" only" but the hotel takes cards and there is an ATM on the hotel property which worked with a UK debit card. The hotel organised car hire for us which went smoothly. Shame you cannot say that about the roads!

A bit concerned when the water went off on our first morning , as it did most days but it was soon restore so no real problem. Menu for food and drink required a QR code reader. I would have preferred a written menu but I then realised the QR reader helped the waiters who had limited English as they could see the Portuguese translation.

Food and service excellent- ceviche is scrumptious. Nice pool and gardens. Nice pool towels. Fine for transiting through before you go to airport.

A/C in our room was terrible. it was only in the seating area and not where the bed was. We booked a 'cheap room', but the bed was only 4 foot 6 and with the room layout it was difficult to have space for 2 open suitcases. Then there was a stupid couch that nobody would use. Would prefer a different room layout. And let's face it €250 a night is still expensive by any standards! Perfect for 1 night on arrival/departure, but very much an airport hotel. Would not recommend for longer stays.

The place was really quiet though we stayed Sunday night so that might have been why. Breakfast truly was delicious, and the service was excellent. There was a complementary shuttle to the airport which was appreciated too.

The Booking.com page suggests that there are wellness services available, like a massage, though this is not the case, there is no spa/wellness service. 50% of my decision to stay here was based on the idea I would have a massage in the morning, which turned out not to be the case, so that was most disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a convenient location near the airport, which made our travel really easy. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety. The outdoor area was a nice place to relax, and to top it off, we got a upgrade for a small fee. The staff were friendly and attentive, excellent service all around.

I absolutely loved the facilities, OMALI is a beautiful place, the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was also lovely and the bedroom well decorated. We have clean towels and a basket for when we went to the pool. The bed was great and very comfortable , I slept so well, and always felt reenergized when I woke up. Nice exterior and great pizzas

Breakfast , we stayed for 3 days and there was little variety in the options for breakfast. I love scrambled eggs and only once did they have scrambled eggs.

The location is near the airport which is convenient. The pool is nice in the middle of the courtyard. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom is spacious with a good shower. The staff are very helpful. You are close to the chocolatiers shops for the city.

The beach is across the road and not super clean. The breakfast was nice. We had dinner one night and they brought us the wrong order. It was very well cooked and presented though. The pool is central and nicely laid out, but there is no deep section and the water was cloudy... this could be due to heavy recent rains though.

Hard to find anything bad to say about this hotel - everything works well. The manager is very hands on and obviously well liked by her staff and it translates into an excellent experience throughout. There are copious common spaces to hand out and the rooms are spacious. The restaurant and bar were also good experiences. It was very convenient to. the airport and the airport transfers worked very well.

As a tea drinker, some black tea bags besides the lemongrass tea would be nice. Wine prices are a bit on the high side and selection limited.

The location is very near airport and very good as a start point for further explorations. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is nice; very fresh and most of it giving a wonderful introduction to the local kitchen. The pool is very nice and great to spend some hours at. The gym and tennis court need renovations though.

The hotel could have some renovations; it looks a bit worn out even though for São Tomé’s standards it’s still 5-star and is compared to all the other hotels on the island. The gym and tennis court need renovations. The beach right in front of the hotel isn’t really as nice as expected; not really inviting for swimming. You need a taxi to go into town, taxis can get pricy.

Beautiful hotel with many and varied communal spaces. Our room was large with all the amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar were well done. It is close to the airport.

Airport transfers in a truck that carries limited numbers of passengers not ideal. Made to order eggs for breakfast would be nice. The hotel should be making tour arrangements to visit other parts of the island, although there is an excellent tour operator that fills that vacuum. Prices are high.

Really great family rooms, pretty pool, delicious breakfast, nice boutique hotel feeling.

The hotel is on the main road- although a small road- and you have to cross the road to go to the beach. The restaurant is quite strict, you can’t go inside until 6pm as the staff do their meetings inside there. There are few vegetarian options on the menu. It feels more like a city boutique hotel than relaxing beach resort.
