We enjoyed this quaint little motel as you enter the town. It was clean, it was updated and it was perfect for two people in the smallest of the rooms available. The toilet is too small though and I’m not even that big of a person. But it was tiny and low to the ground . The bathroom was clean and shower was great ! The tv was perfect and the fridge was good too. We will return to this motel soon! We slept comfortably!!

The room matched the photos and was very cute/fresh feeling. It was clean and comfortable even in the heat. Checking in/out couldn't have been easier as it was all done remotely. It was a great deal for the price!

The only thing I'd change is removing the check-in window. When booking the room, it asks you to pick an hour window for check-in, so we planned our itinerary to arrive during that time. But we received a call a few hours before our selected window telling us everything we needed including the code to the door. While this was great and convenient, it would have been nice to know that was the process ahead of time for planning purposes.

It was adorable, clean, roomy and comfortable. Loved the toiletries....you had everything you could think of even a cute old mini black Frigidaire. I wasn't expecting much but was totally surprised. I highly recommend it.

The only thing I can think of is that I wish it had heavy curtains to block out the outside light that was just above our window. That light was bright on both sides of the shade, making it difficult to get to sleep for those of us that like it dark.

We thought the Frederick Motel being a bit off the beaten path was nice- it’s only a 2 min drive from all the shops but still super quiet. It’s also convenient that the property is right across the way from Walmart in case you’re like us and forgot a few things from home. :) The room was clean, spacious, and had a combination lock on the door which we thought was a nice touch. It was also simply yet tastefully decorated.

We never met any of the staff- they called us to give our room code but they were managing another inn that weekend. There was no cleaning service during our 2 day 2 night stay, and only one set of sheets and towels - it turned out ok but if we had stayed any longer we would’ve wanted new towels, sheets, a broom, etc. in the room if there was no staff on property.

the property was well maintained. It felt like you were stepping back in time. A very quaint motel. There was no musty smell like most hotels have. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Room was nicely renovated. Bed was on the firm side which I like but maybe too firm for those that don't like a firm bed. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. Nice quiet area. Not walking distance to downtown but a short drive of a mile to a mile and a half. I had trouble checking as the keypad entry was not working but housekeeping was there and provided me with a key. Staff was very accommodating and easy to reach.

It was not disclosed there was no cable or satellite tv. As I was riding my Harley through the Hill country it would have been nice to have the weather channel Fortunately the weather was good aside from some early morning fog. Only apps on the flat screen which was extremely difficult to navigate so I gave up and just worked from my tablet. .

Súper close to Main Street, less than a 4 minute drive. Also accesible to the vineyards. Staying at the Fredrick is perfect for a couple that doesn’t need much space. This is our second time staying at the Fredrick and we couldn’t recommend it more. Can’t beat the price for the value. They have clean facilities and and easy check in. We will definitely be back!

We actually moved to the Kittsmiller instead of the Frederick. We asked for an early check in & the rooms were ready at the Kittsmiller, so the owner graciously allowed us to check in early for the same price. I was very appreciative since I did not feel well & needed to take a nap.

Not a very dark room.

Value, location and it was clean. Liked the retro feel, as well. We were only going to be in Fredericksburg one night -- and it was a last-minute decision -- and we appreciated the value. Also liked the retro, metal porch chairs and small table outside the door of our room. We ate breakfast and drank our coffee there.

It was great for what we needed -- an affordable place to spend the night close to downtown Fredericksburg. Not sure I would spend 3 or 4 nights there, however. The room was small and the recent remodel job didn't cover up the age of the motel. It's a very old property.

The property is a great renovation of an historic , iconic motel from my childhood. I am so glad it has been renovated and not replaced with a generic flag motel/hotel. The updates are on point with utility and style. Compliments to the renovation team!

It was raining, so the food truck experience was not an option. Please add interior door mats yo protect your nice new floors. A small coffee pack would be nice, but we managed with a small coffee purchase from the Dollar Tree.
