We enjoyed our stay at Venice Suites. Great location next to the boardwalk. Within walking distance of nice restaurants and shops

The parking accessibility. They told us there would be plenty of parking along the main Ave. but that wasn't the case. We found paid underground parking close by for $30/night (note that you can not do overnight parking at the Public Beach parking lots that are close by). Their $20/night off-site parking seems to be quite a walk, and we also felt during check-in that they were encouraging us to find another option. Another minor detail if you are a sensitive sleeper, is that the pillows could use upgrading (they were very lumpy and high).

Very clean, right on the beach, perfect location, full kitchen with large fridge, stove top, everything! Located right next to a perfect restaurant which I will review next, The Fig Tree, also has a small convenient market right next door! Roof top was nicely set up for kids & adults with grill & laundry ( in separate area of roof top) it’s a great place for the price which is very reasonable! Amazing staff, front desk, Tatiana, was amazing and very helpful! A must for anyone! I’m from LA and this was a nice pet friendly getaway for me & my pup post surgery!

Can’t think of any dislikes!

What a cool hotel! From the minute we walked in and took the vintage elevator to our floor, we couldn't help but love this place. The room was clean, good size, had just enough of a kitchen, and the bed was so damn comfortable! Being steps from the beach was an absolute plus. The rate was the best on the whole beachfront, so it really is a steal. The rooftop balcony was equipped with a large grill and lots of places to sit. If you stay, don't miss out on this perk. We read the reviews about it being dated, but that's the charm! Fantastic stay and would stay again.

The location is, of course, perfect. Mr. Paul at the reception was incredibly kind and helpful, greeting us warmly and patiently answering all our questions. All the hotel staff we interacted with were super nice and accommodating. The hotel provides beach towels and even some beach toys for the kids, which we borrowed and found very convenient. The rooftop is amazing, having a BBQ there for 8 people was one of the highlights of our trip, offering stunning views. The laundry facilities (a washing machine and dryer) are very useful, but be sure to bring plenty of quarters and your own detergent. Parking next to the hotel is very convenient, and the attendants are extra nice, they even offer a discount for multiple-night stays. However, you might find cheaper parking nearby. We visited in December, and while the hotel has no air conditioning, we can't comment on how comfortable it might be during the summer months. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend the hotel for its fantastic staff, location, and amenities.

Perfect location at the very beach, which means that there is a lot of fresh air from the ocean. We park our auto in the nearby safe garage. Personnel was supportive. Santa Monica Pier and beautiful downtown were at the walking distance. There are some really interesting restaurants and cafés close to the hotel. Although the hotel (esp. corridors and elevator) are a bit shabby, we enjoyed our time in the hotel. We would recommend it to everyone.

Reception is strangely small and looks miserable. There is no any possibility to spend at least a part of your time in the hotel, although that was not a problem to us, since our stay was extremely short.

The location is very beautiful. The view and the terrace are wonderful. The staff is polite and helpful.

The sound insulation is very poor. We could hear all the noises from the people on the lower and upper floors. The sounds of people passing by outside could be heard throughout the night. Homeless individuals and musicians create noise outside until the morning. If you are traveling with children or infants, or if you are sensitive to noise, this may not be the right place for you.

Right on the beach. The hotel is in a more quiet area of Venice Beach with the main area a short walk down the path. We walked to the Santa Monica Pier which was about 30 minutes each way. Plenty of bikes/scooters that you can rent. There are plenty of homeless people around, but none of them ever caused any problems that we saw. None of them ever approached us; they were just there. The public bathrooms on the beach were foul so we liked having our place so close.

Location, location! Rooms were bright and clean, like having an apartment for the week! Can't beat it for ocean front and boardwalk access.

Drop off and parking. You can park in the lot right next to hotel, but it's $45 a night. Otherwise expect to park a 5 minute walk (at least) to nearest lot for $20 a night. Drop off was a small hassle, entry door is in the front of the building facing the beach. The elevator is small, and a little difficult to maneuver luggage, but it's manageable.

It was my 2nd stay. Beautiful location. Spacious room. Fantastic rooftop.

When i checked in on the 14th at around 11am i think, , greeted by a male staff. Really cool guy. Checked out at 11am, 15th oct. Attended by a female staff. Didnt even ask me hw was my stay. Ok fine no issues. Store my bags,came bk at 545pm to collect, a difrent female staff was at the front desk. I asked if i cud use the restroom real quick. " im sorry the restroom is right behind you but i cant let you use it . I just cant..." Management orders? Or.... Zero tolerance. Poor P.R skills.

What a great location on the beach! Was raining when we arrived from the UK so it was great that there were LOADS of bars and restaurants within a minutes walk. And used to the rain being from the UK but hadn't taken brollies doh. Lovely walk next day along the beach path to Santa Monica Pier. Roof top area was fantastic! Met some people there and it was a great place to see the sunset, natter and share wine! Deffo stay again. Just hope the WiFi can be better on higher floors. But not a major problem.

Needed to go down one floor to get WiFi. Would be good if it worked higher up. But not a huge problem
