The cleanliness and spacious room is exceptional good and by far biggest room. The hot spring is available throughout the night which is very helpful especially when one has entire day adventure to ease the tense muscles. The build in restaurant offers good value for money meals which help those who has no means of transport. The washer and dryer allows its patron usage helps tourist. Hotel next to Shari river. Sunrise and sunset is beautiful. Night stars can be seen just out of windows.

Guest need to have their own mode of transport.

We stayed there for 4 nights in June 2023. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was big, bed comfortable, window could be opened. The hotel might not be new and is quite "clear" when it comes to decortation, but we missed nothing. The onsen seems to be used by many locals too, we liked it and it was nice to soak into hot water after a day out. We had dinner in the hotel once and it was really good in quality and price. The location is very rural, in walking distance we only found 2 restaurants. The room was with breakfast, but for my (personal) taste it was a bit limited. Staff was very nice and helpful although very limited english.

I would have been very happy if there was any bread at breakfast :-)

Very friendly staff. Nice and casual environment. Good restaurant and onsen. Convenient location for visiting different national parks and attractions.

Ventilation can be better: Foul smell in some areas inside the hotel.

I am surprise that there is such a nice facility in this little town. The room is spacious and there is a big public bath for the guest to enjoy. The food in the hotel restaurant offer great Japanese food and our family had a good dinner there.

It is a small town so nothing much available to do in the night, especially winter.

Our package was not included the breakfast.

Not about the hotel, is about the town is so quiet, have to travel to the nearest town for some provision.

hotel is not close to restaurants so no choice but to eat there. But no vegetarian options except rice and udon noodles (cooked in a beef broth). hotel is a long way from main attractions of Shiretoku NP

The room is spacious, and the hotel has an onsen. My family first time experiences an onsen.

The location of the hotel is too remote. There are no amenities nearby.

The rooms were huge and very comfortable. The staff found a ring that I lost, which was amazing and wonderful.

The restaurant is very basic, a bit disappointing.

The place seems more like hostel. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. We have dinner & breakfast plan. The portion is big and tasty. The surrounding is green and peaceful.

The public bath water is too hot for my liking.
