This is such a unique place to stay and considering it is on a barge, surprisingly well kitted out for a two night stay. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fab.

Hard to fault this place, but it is worth knowing that opening the windows for a bit of natural ventilation is important as the room got a bit humid when we took a shower.

Room bigger than expected with comfortable bed and good quiet air conditioning. The shower had good hot water and pressure. We were able to store our bicycles under an awning, out of the rain, on deck. The hosts welcomed us and explained how everything worked then let us have our privacy and we felt quite at home. Easy to find and good location close to town. The deck area had a separate outdoor seating and small table for guests to use. A really good idea was a big fridge with drinks that guests could purchase for a very reasonable cost (cash needed). We even got to use a bit of fridge space for some groceries we had with us. Breakfast was laid out for us at an agreed time, and there was plenty of variety and more than enough to choose from. Reasonably good Wi-Fi.

No outlook from the room; just a little porthole, but this made the room very private. The upstairs area is being renovated by the owner and there is a small amount of construction noise at times.

One or two cobwebs but otherwise perfect.

Our second stay on this wonderful houseboat. It's really close to the town centre but very peaceful and quiet. Lovely views of the water while sitting on the deck with a glass of wine (which you can buy from the guest fridge at a very reasonable price). Excellent breakfast, comfortable room, storage space for our bikes and great value for money.

Yet another serendipitous discovery on Booking...a perfect location on a sparkling canal barge very close to Centre Ville in Dole. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very nice, and all was new. Secure bicycle storage in the front deck house. Only 100m from Eurovelo 6 bicycle path. Very good breakfast. The hosts live on board and are available.

Easy parking and good breakfast .Room a good size with both the ability to warm it and cool it.

It had been raining a lot when we arrived and the bathroom smelt a bit damp but there were no signs of damp and everything was spotless

A charming, quirky accommodation with parking and short walk into town. The hosts are fantastic and even gave us some local nibbles to have with our drink on the upper deck. Breakfast is everything you'd need to fuel for a busy day.

Great character, lovely & warm on cold, rainy night, very comfortable bed & en suite, super breakfast, perfect location in a pretty town en route to Val D'Isere where you can walk to restaurants within 5/10 mins. Highly recommend. We would stay again.

Lovely host, great breakfast, good parking, good surprisingly big room presented well, nice upper deck to sit out on in the evening although could be cleaned a bit more regularly which is difficult for an outdoor space. 10 min lovely stroll to centre.

The boat was in a beautiful, quiet location, next to a park. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They happily stored luggage until our train time and ensured we were comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would happily stay there again.
