Its a full apartment. It has the amenities we paid for. The garage made up a little for the unit not having a view on the lake. The unit has a a nice garden in front and you can catch some gimps of mountains. The pet farm is just below and nice to check out if you like that.

A big problem with he main shower drain I had to circumvent myself to avoid flooding the bathroom (again). A bit of preventative maintenance would avoid that problem from happening. The tablet they use to inform us died on me, but it s a superfluous gimmick anyway. The unit ceiling is a cheap wooden floor boards so if someone is renting above, it is noisy as, with footsteps...

Stayed two nights here. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and tidy, equipped with a well-fitted kitchen though some of the electric appliances like microwave and oven were not clean. Toaster was also rusted. Probably it's time for an upgrade. Beds were comfy. There's a bath tub in one of the bathrooms but we only used the shower. Love the shower very much as the water pours like a waterfall. There's a garage just next to the unit, where you can park your car inside. It was pretty convenient, especially when it's raining.

Amazing location, very comfortable room and lovely host. We had heavy snow when we were there and it was magical! The beds were so comfy and the heating was great. The use of the garage was very handy in icy conditions. There was also a great selection of kids toys and a highchair and portacot for our little one! Easy walking distance to the farm animals and into town (or a short drive).

It could use a few more supplies such as dishwashing tablets, tea towels, basics in the kitchen.

The living area is huge, the view to the lake is nice and the sofa is surprisingly very comfortable, and it has bathroom & toilet for each bedroom. Can walk to the town centre, about 10 min away.

This apartment is located on the upper floor, so need to walk up the stairs from garage or from the road. Not a problem for us, just something to be aware of.

I booked the ground floor 2BR unit. There was another family upstairs with a kid, and the kid was a runner. Could feel the steps banging till midnight. No way to contact them from the inside other than yelling in the hope they listened.

Exceptional apartment, immaculately clean with great amenities. It's a short stroll onto town, quiet at night. Cathy (and her dog Ruby) met us when we arrived to give us keys and show us the apartment. Great host, chatted to us about her garden, her old 1922 Singer sewing machine and stargazing off the back deck. Loved the little touches, esp our name on the garage door so we knew we were in the right place.

Check in was early per our request. My name was on a chalkboard n the garage reserved for us. Impeccably clean. Friendly hosts. Very comfortable including the mattress pad heaters. 5 minutes to the hot springs. A delightful place. We stayed ne night but one could liver there for weeks comfortably.

No complaints from any of us. All four of us were pleased. Easy from start to finish. Beats a hotel room hands down. Would be happy to go back.

The location is a short walk from the lakefront and is a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchen has everything you need, and the complimentary milk was appreciated. The showers had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water; they were great for relaxing at the end of our drive.

The upstairs apartment had loudly speaking people who we could hear through the ceiling. They did not stay up late, but it was a noticeable part of our stay. There were signs reminding people to respect the other guests.

Gas fireplace in living hall and electric blanket on both beds + heater in the toilets. Love the backyard space and the front balcony too.

a bit of steps to the unit but it's fair as the upper floor has better view of Lake Tekapo!

Cathy was welcoming and hospitable. We can’t find the entrance and got her assistance immediately. She also introduced us all rooms and facilities. She also gave us many suggestions on Tekapo. Thank you Cathy. The apartment was beautiful and elegant. It was full of antiques, arts and collections. We can have everything we need there. We look forward to come back!
