All we can say is wow. From our arrival to our departure we were so well looked after. Staff so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Can not recommend enough. Cannot help but feel that everyone working there is invested in the success of the hotel and in providing the guest with a fantastic holiday experience. In house restaurant Appellation with great food and pairing wine added to the whole experience. Walking distance to great small businesses and wineries with open cellars. Apartment spacious and lots of lovely touches.

Yes it's expensive, but if you can afford, its great value for money, six course meals, every night, obviously small portions, but each had its own taste with 6 individual local wines to match, each course. Young local knowable staff, casual kinda smart outfits, but exceptionally friendly....fabulous paddock/grape vine views with hills in the distance, if the six course meal is too much you can have a 3 course simple menue and a free bottle of wine to your taste, the great feature is they open your fridge and wine, beer, proceco, soft drinks,and it's all free and refreshed every day.....saved the best to last...on a cool night they tuck a hot water bottle in your bed....plus a fresh tea for the morning or night ...Breakfast is pretty average but it's all about the dinners, staff, accomodation, and location.....it's definitely expensive, but great value for the money. ....pay once and the house recommended excellent wines, 6 course meals, breakfast are all included in the price....there is no "we will settle the bill", just pack your bags and go home....small kinda lap pool, washing machine drier available free...exercise room about 5 /6 expensive machines...free

An exquisite way to enjoy the Barossa. Wonderful location, walking distance to several cellar doors, and short drive to infinitely more. Beautiful views of the vines from each room & Apellation. Lovely rooms, with fireplaces & heating/cooling. Fabulous food included at Apellation for breakfast & dinner, with wine pairings showcasing the best of the area. Staff so helpful & friendly.

The staff were very good. The location of The Louise is excellent. Quiet, lovely views of vineyards. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean. When we arrived the room was already heated . It was a cold day, perfect for wine tasting. The restaurant is very good, including breakfast, again with beautiful views looking over vineyards. This is our third stay here and no doubt will not be the last.

We loved everything, no complaints.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, set in a very picturesque location, surrounded by vineyards, and the whole hotel property is kept up to impeccable standards. The property is modern with all amenities you can think of, and the food is to die for. Anyone visiting must try their degustation menu. Staff were also extremely helpful and hospitable. Best place to stay in Barossa/ South Australia I would say.

The only disappointment we had was with the food we would have preferred to decide for ourselves how our steak should have been cooked instead of having to return it uneaten as it was too rare for our taste we thought it such a waste to throw away an excellent steak

Quiet Sanctuary, Beautiful Scenery Room , facilities, fine wines

I would like to make a suggestion to the establishment that for dinner they offer the choice of another menu, a “casual” one, not degustation…they can still showcase their wines. Just an opinion.

Pampered experience, which at these prices, you are looking for. Beautiful staff who understood they were their for the customers and to make them feel special. Overall nothing to complain about.

Pool area was, in my opinion, not quite hitting the mark as compared to the rest of the facility...still nice but could be improved in aesthetic ways. Pool bar was again not meeting the level that the Louise strives for...just kind of below par and the drinks available were not the quality anticipated. Floor outside shower seemed very slippery when wet...not ideal. Just a thought...in the rear courtyard of our apartment it is really not able to be used for relaxation as it has direct sun for hours in the afternoon, which is great if that's your thing, but to sit in the very comfy chairs, in summer, maybe a small umbrella or shade sail that could be pulled out, even over a portion so you can sit without being in the sun.

Super personalized and friendly service from the moment we set foot on the property; all of our needs were thoughtfully catered to - the staff are all incredible; the food was next level fantastic; the room was stunning and so so clean; loved the jacuzzi tub and the outdoor shower, as well as the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards; highly recommend the helicopter tour of the valley that was recommended, as it was one of the highlights of our trip

Second time staying at the Louise. Very clean, organized, and relaxing atmosphere. Pool is perfect added touch. The staff was amazing and friendly. Probably the best customer experience I’ve had in Australia!

Not much to complain about. Wish the gym was bigger but didn’t really have time to use when your wining and dining all the time in Barossa.
