Wonderful place! We stayed for 1 night with breakfast and evening meal and use of the spa included in the price. For dinner we had a 3 course meal and could choose anything from the menu. We had trout tarter starter, steak, followed by tart - all delicious! Buffet breakfast with great choice - again very delicious. The hotel has been newly renovated in a fun, quirky style. The rooms & bed was very comfortable. The spa overlooked the mountains and we could stay in the spa as long as we wanted after check out ( which was a real bonus due to us only staying for 1 night) There was storage for our bikes. The staff were very friendly. Lovely guy serving our evening meal. Reception staff were great. We will definitely be back!

The food at the hotel is absolutely amazing. Breakfasts are fantastic, featuring a wide variety of fresh regional products and plenty of delicious options to choose from. The dinners, which can be added to the room rate as part of the half-board option, are equally outstanding. Each evening offers something different, and the dishes are always expertly prepared and incredibly tasty. As a family with high expectations when it comes to food, we were thoroughly impressed—every dinner at La Cachette was top-notch. One evening, there was even a full seafood buffet featuring an incredible selection of seafood. Despite being a buffet, nothing ever felt lacking—everything was warm, beautifully presented, and impeccably prepared. The hotel itself is fantastic as well. The rooms are comfortable, and the location is absolutely perfect—everything you need is just a stone's throw away. Ski lifts, ski schools, and rental services are all within a convenient 30-50 metre range, making it incredibly easy and hassle-free for guests.

The only aspect that could be improved is the finishing touches in the rooms. It’s clear that the hotel was transformed from an older building with a focus on cost-efficiency—mainly repainting and updating some décor—which, considering the price, feels a bit disappointing. A bit more attention to detail would make a big difference. For instance, while the wardrobes look modern on the outside, the interiors feel dated, reminiscent of the 90s. In the bathroom, some pipes were exposed, and areas of paintwork appeared unfinished. These are small issues overall. Even though it was pricey, we had a great time, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

La Chacette is a great choice for a ski getaway, conveniently located just minutes from the slopes. The ski shop connected to the hotel makes renting equipment hassle-free, and with the ski pass collection nearby, everything is set up for a smooth skiing experience. The rooms are spacious, with beautiful views from the balcony, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The spa is a highlight, especially the outdoor hot tub and sauna, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Breakfast is also excellent, offering a great buffet selection to start the day right. Overall, despite the service issues, we had a great stay and would return!

The service could be improved. Staff were not always helpful and often needed management to make decisions. We were also charged for a late check-out (only two hours), despite the fact that no one appeared to be booked in after us.

The Location could not be better within a structure that extends to numerous shops,restaurants, ski hire etc. Right next to slopes and three lifts. The building is of architectural interest. The rooms towards luxury and interesting in design. Bit like 'Rocky pop' if you know them. The communal areas are large and comfortable. The breakfast really varied and exceptional. Parking is free. Staff are really helpful. I did not eat in the evening. On the back of giving two one star reviews for pretentious uk small plates restaurants l am really pleased to give positive feedback!!

There seemed to be a bit of tension amongst the staff, more so on the breakfast/morning team which was noticed by a few families staying at the property making things a little uncomfortable for guests. There also seemed to be some conflict in terms of the late check out policy. Although advertised, we were told it wasn’t possible in February. We later got told all the late check outs were booked.

Modern, clean and nice mid size hotel, good location with virtually all you need eg ski rental, ski school, tourist center, shops, restaurants and grocery’s just around the corner. Several minutes away from ski lifts. Good spa with indoor and outdoor facilities.

Breakfast was all the same every day, no fresh juice, very limited variety of vegetables and no crepes which is a must in France! :) In terms of service, even though overall it was ok, but most of the time, the spa area was out of drinking water, towels and glasses, with no personnel around to take care of this.

The location was great for the slopes, and the room was big and clean. Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Having the spa included in the room price was a bonus and helped relieve the muscles after a long day riding. Breakfast was excellent, full hot selection and cold. Would definitely recommend it.

Nothing really, 1600 is a bit quieter than some of the other areas at Les Arcs, but you can easily get a bus or taxi to the other areas if you want.

Loved everything. From the moment you walk in you are warmly greeted. This hotel is in the best location to restaurant and delicious bakeries. The spa services are excellent. The activities for children around the hotel are exceptional. The beds are very comfortable. I will definitely return.

There was nothing negative about this hotel

Small, quirky room layout however, it was extremely comfortable and all facilities available. Both the receptionist and Maitre’d were extremely welcoming and friendly and made my short stay pleasant.

Although I was informed the spa was operating, I tried to book a masseuse but was told she’s not available which was very disappointing.

Great location in the heart of La Cachette, right by the piste, lift, shops, ski hire shop and restaurants . We had 2 interconnecting rooms overlooking the piste. Great spa with lovely hot tubs and sauna overlooking the mountains.

Buffet dinner was mediocre. Although dinner service was supposed to be 7-9pm if you arrived after 8 they had already run out of some things leaving limited options.
