Really I would say 12 rather than 10! This guest house is unbeliavable. Karine , Jean-Francoise and their familiy make you feel like at home. With their never ending smile and histories to talk about The room was huge clean, new, exactly like the photos. They have a lot of flexibility for each guest necessities, The experience of Jean-Francoise in cyclims is very help to people who come to ride in bicycle. But I imaging that should be even better in winter time His kindness has no limits, his house is a luxury for any traveler Thank you for all

We loved our stay at Montagn'Arcs! This place is a truly special place to stay. Karine and Jean-François are amazing hosts and have considered all the details to make a stay here unique and memorable. Karine prepared an amazing breakfast every morning at the time we wanted and we also enjoyed a home-cooked dinner one night with our hosts and other guests. Our room was so comfortable, furnished and decorated to the highest quality. The open kitchen and lounge area in the house is perfect to relax in after a busy day on the mountain. A five minute drive down the hill to the funicular in the morning made this a great location to stay for skiing. Genuinely one of the most spectacular places we've ever stayed on a ski trip. Thank you Karine and Jean-François! We will be back.

Everything was amazing - not a fault.

Karine, the hostess is delightful and so helpful. Her home is a wonderful place to stay. We took our two children there to stay for a night. There is so much for them to do with pool, table football, pinball and playstation. The breakfast was delicious and we had a happy stay. It is a 15 minute walk in to town where we had a delicious dinner at La Refuge (does not take bookings). We slept well and comfortably and I would recommend others to stay there.

This hotel is a gem. I needed an emergency one night stay due to my wife being in hospital....I wish I could have stayed for longer. The hotel is a little way up the side of the valley above Bourg St Maurice but don't be put off, it's very accessible, views are great, rooms lovely and communal area/ breakfast room great and breakfast lovely. Karine and Jean-Francois are very friendly, helpful and even gave me a lift to the hospital the next day.

We were greeted by host Jean Françoise and Karin who were very welcoming. The room was beautiful and bed very comfy . We liked the honesty fridge for drinks and communal area overlooking the valley . We had come by motorcycle and Jean Françoise gave us a lift into town and collected us after we had dinner - exceptional service . Breakfast was wonderful. We loved it . Also , they didn’t mind me practicing my french out on them!

A little bit out of town, but our hosts kept an ear out for us arriving and came out to greet us. We had a very warm welcome and our room was lovely. We didn't use all the amazing facilities on site as we walked to town (an easy walk down the hill for someone sure-footed - we were given good directions) On our trek back up we were offered a lift. We were also given directions to an excellent restaurant where we had a lovely meal. Shower and toiletries were excellent. There was even fruit in the room, along with the kettle with coffee etc. Ample fluffy towels. Super comfy bed and bedding. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts full of useful information about the area. A very enjoyable experience all round

We really loved stating with Karine and Jean Francois. Great hosts, friendly, attentive and thoroughly nice people. It made the stay even more enjoyable. The chalet has a great open living space with bar, games, dining area, seated area with TV. Breakfast was great. All in all a lovely sociable holiday. We'll be back.

Couldn't fault anything

I honestly never leave reviews but the hosts were so awesome I wanted to repay them! The room was impeccable and a lot of thought went into every detail. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming, allowed me to graciously practice my French and we had a long conversation about life and travels. It felt like I was staying at my European aunt and uncles house. The breakfast was great and the bar selection phenomenal.

The hosts were immediately welcoming. They provided complimentary lemonade upon our arrival. They accommodated breakfast for our very early departure and provided us a ride to the bus station. They also did a load of laundry for us. We highly recommend this place for hikers on the Tour du Mont Blanc who cannot get a reservation at the Auberge de la Nova. Just try and arrange a ride with the hosts from the bus station when you arrive in town because it’s a 1.5 mile uphill hike.

1.5 uphill hike to the location was not fun. The hosts stated they would have picked us up in town if we had asked but we did not know this.

We loved the location and the views (be ready with your walking shoes to get up and down the hill - we enjoyed the 15-20 minute walk). The Chalet is lovely and the hosts are super helpful. The breakfasts are good but could be considered a bit repetitive if you stay a number of days, pancakes on the last day were great! Our room was big and stylish. The aircon was great.

In general we totally enjoyed our stay but the only thing to comment would be the 'ensuite' bathroom - yes it's in the room but it's lacking in privacy as there is no 'door'.
