We were staying in Bourg St Maurice after leaving Les Arc and before getting the Eurostar the next day. The hotel is placed ideally for a 10 minute walk from the funicular and a five minute walk from the front of the station. We had the family room which, despite being up quite a few stairs, was quiet, private and well laid out to give parents and 2 kids separate space. We didn't eat or drink there purely because of the timing, but the staff we spoke with were very friendly. I will definitely use this hotel again if it's available.

Excellent value hotel and ideal for my overnight pause after the train before heading up to Val d'Isere in the morning. Within fairly easy walking distance of the train/coach station even with luggage in the snow. Lively bar, friendly welcome and very adequate single room. Slept well. Breakfast plentiful without waste or opulence.

I have been to les arcs to ski on many an occasion but never stayed in bourg-saint-maurice. The hotel was lovely, and the staff were lovely. My wife ended up accidentally leaving her bags at the hotel and they couldn't have been more helpful helping the bags get shipped (still hoping on them being returned by the courier 😉). My wife and friend ejoyed exploring the town while I cycled up the cormet de roselend (which is one ticked ff the bucket list 😄).

Its a bit of a labyrinth to find your way around.

This is a fabulous little hotel, the staff could not do enough for us. when we arrived the kitchen was long closed but they knocked up a cold plate of cheeses, charcuterie and quiche that would put many a place to shame. We were driving to tignes and this was our overnight before the climb to resort in the morning, great place, great stop and there are good EV chargers in bourg just outside super U supermarket, also very convenient parking very near hotel

We had a short stay at Hotel Angival as we had to catch an early train from BSM. Hotel was perfect for us, great location just 5mins walk to train station. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly. We didn't have time for breakfast but there is a boulongerie within 2min walk that opens at 6am. I think the breakfast was 12euros so quite reasonable.

Shower went a bit hot and cold but otherwise all good.

Great location. Good bar and restaurant with good prices. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Everything went smoothly.

The room was a bit on the small size but fine for a one night stay. When I told the lady on reception my name ( in french) she said she didn't understand English and I must speak in french ( sorry but my name is english ) . So make sure you know the french word for 'reservation' : )

It was my first 2-star hotel in my life, and it pleasantly surprised me. There were all the basics needed at the hotel. Room decorated with wooden furniture, clean and practical, although a bit spartan. Reasonable bathroom, even with some toiletries and good towels, daily cleaning - well done! Buffet breakfast was a bit too modest, but after all, the standard 2-stars would probably offer no breakfast at all...

Just one needs to be prepared to climb 3 old steep staircases with a suitcase and no lifts. Rest was all reasonable.

Nice hotel in a great location, just 5 min walk from the train station. We stayed here for one night before catching the Snow train back to London. The rooms were small but comfortable with a nice shower and everything was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal was decent and good value.

Nice looking and clean in a fantastic location. Simple but lovely room and delicious fondue meal in their restaurant.

It was a nice breakfast but for €12 per head felt offended when we got hurried to leave by the waitress as we were finishing. We were two families with 5 children under 7 years so meals can take a while! But there were plenty of empty tables so she didn’t need ours. Expected better service.

Breakfast was plentiful and varied, many drink choices and savoury and sweet food available. The staff was unfailingly charming, cheerful and pleasant. The bar/restaurant was a very pleasant place to be, and the evening menu was excellent. The room with ensuite bathroom was clean and warm, the bed very comfortable.
