Hotel Arolla is a nice small friendly hotel in a great location. Staff were very helpful even before I arrived, calling me back to make arrangement in case I was late to arrive) The hotel is well kept, room was very clean and the bed made for me each day. The location was ideal for me being close to town and the Funicular only a few minutes walk for access to Les Arcs and the bus / train station. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfy too and I would not hesitate to return for another visit.

One opportunity to improve would be to provide a little information in the room about the hotel and local area, as in my case I arrived late and did not have much time to chat with the hosts on my arrival.

An excellent place to stop over on the way past. Reception were helpful for a late check in. Our room was quite small, with very limited space, and I think large people would not be very comfortable. Beds where comfy but not large, and the shower is only 70cm x 70cm. Shutters meant it was actually dark in the room. I would happily stay here again.

Shower was very small, so large people will find it hard to use. Limited storage so don't expect to unpack your bags!

When I arrived at the hotel, I did not have my wallet ( money ) at all, but the person at the hotel were very very kind and helpful, even tried to solve the situation. After somehow we figured it out the situation, I was able to check in. I ate dinner at the place. The dinner was very nice. I really enjoyed homemade jam, local cheese and Genepi. I asked some questions about local traditions, history, etc. He answered everything and I learned Bourg-Saint-Maurice a lot.

The location is excellent for the train station & the funiculaire up to Les Arcs. A 5 minute walk. We had nice breakfasts in the hotel & there's plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We WILL definitely be back!

That we didn't stay longer!

A comfortable bedroom with an excellent en-suite in a brilliant location (very close to the train station, funicular and old town shops). Thierry is a very welcoming host with excellent English. The breakfasts were super too. I thought this was fantastic value and served as a perfect base for skiing at Les Arcs.

Location was good. Parking & bike storage safe & secure. Owners very friendly & helpful, fabulous breakfast & dinner was delicious. Very clean & lovely thoughtful touches throughout. Beds comfortable, great shower, very cosy. We would definitely stay again.

Our room was quite compact & on the second floor. We would book a larger room on the ground or first floor next time. Other than that which was our choice when booking a twin room, there was nothing further to dislike…..everything was great!,

Thierry, was the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming. He organised the breakfast which was excellent; fresh bread, croissants, cereals, cheese, homemade jam, juice, tea and coffee. A perfect start to the day. The rooms were warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. The location was very central, only 5 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the funicular to the ski slopes. Also convenient for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely repeat our stay.

Very good breakfast. Friendly proprietor and wife. Excellent location handy for catching shuttle to funicular. Compact room but well designed.

Wifi was not always reliable.

Great location, close to rail station, shops, restaurants and Saturday market. Option to have breakfast and dinner in if you don’t feel like going out. Simple and comfortable, seems to be the choice for hikers in the area.
