The place was gorgeous with a beautiful pool view. The room was massive with extra-large bathroom. The staffs were really friendly and helpful.

The property is in a remote area so it takes at least 20mins to get to somewhere to eat. The place is wonderful but they don’t offer catering except breakfast which is a big minus since it’s hard to travel anywhere from it. Another minus is there wasn’t a fridge in the room.

Peaceful setting amongst breathtaking nature. Overlooking a deep gorge, from the infinity pool. Especially liked the gym/yoga area high up in the tree house.

Everything you could dream of, one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my life, everything was clean, every corner had a gorgeous picture, very peaceful and beautiful views, the bed was huge and comfy. Staff were lovely. I will be back very soon for sure. There's a few things that they need to fix like the sink on the bathroom but I'm sure they will do it soon.

A perfect vacation. The room was amazing and the pool/garden was so beautiful, you really get a peaceful, quiet jungle experience. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. The stuff was very helpful and we had amazing massages, they also organized trips for us. We ordered food and drinks online and they were delivered to the place (there is no restaurant in walking distance, but the delivery was easy to do). Also, we loved our room. It was so spacious, clean and with a privat terrace.

The breakfast was amazing and the overall hospitality was very good.

The jet spray in washroom had too much force, should be changed.

We've stayed at over 6 different places whilst visiting Bali, and I can say that Villa Lembah Damai was the best of our stays. It is a hidden gem located in Taro village, which is North to Ubud and right next to tropical rainforests. The location is very serene, as it's a little secluded, with not a lot to do in the proximity unless you drive a scooter or hire a driver. This wasn't a problem for us as it is easy to hire a driver, should you need one. Overall, the secludedness and sense of privacy is what we thought made this a really special stay. This is some top notch resort, with incredible views, staff and facilities. Would definitely come back, and if we ever returned to Bali, we'd prioritise staying at this location for longer.

There's nothing we did not like.

Room was great. Swimming pool and area were incredible. Breakfast was good, not amazing. 100% beautiful and quiet area! Time on the motorbike was next level amazing. Easy access to other middle island car and driver or motorbike days. Close enough to Ubud for a car and driver even though getting one out there can sometimes be a challenge. No Grab here. Lots of upscale hotels hidden around for food and luxury as long as you have transport like a motorbike. Easy to rent motorbike here. Amazing property view! Not walkable. Remote and quiet if you want to stay still in a beautiful and large home.

Lunch and dinner not acceptable and should be considered not available. Beer and snacks only. Pizza was frozen cardboard. Must have transportation to stay here or have access to a dedicated driver on speed dial. No local restaurants available for the most part. Bring your own travel plans for the days you are here.

Good value for the money, super peaceful and beautiful, exactly what I was looking for. And really even better in real life then I thought it would be. Stuff was super sweet also.

- Pillows were uncomfortable. - Couldn’t fill the bath tub more then half as the hot water runs out.

There is just nothing negative to say about my stay. A calm paradise, very well maintained with a love for detail and a great staff. There are around 7 rooms in the hotel (I really enjoyed „room 4“) so you enjoy a lot of intimacy, even at full capacity. Please keep in mind that the concept is to detox from all the noise around us. So the flip side of not hearing the street or anything from civilization is you need a 15 minutes ride to the Tegallalang rice terraces or other food spots. But: you get breakfast, lunch and dinner at the villa, from early morning to 9:30 pm. No worries, it’s a great pick!

Amazing place, in a small Balinese village. Perfect for resting and cruising around with motorbike in the area. Rooms and bathroom are Amazing! Clean

There is hot water and enough for 2 showers. But when you want to take a bath it is just not enough to fill it up. Maybe this can be fixed with a bigger boiler. Prices of food are good and food is good but there is just a small choice. If you concider that the closest restaurant is a 20min drive we would have eaten more at the villa if there was more choice. They mainly focus on western food and only have the basic indonesian food
