Location: 5/5 Tucked away in the midst of a tropical rainforest, Padma Resort Ubud provides a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of busy streets. The resort's strategic location offers a quiet and secluded haven, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding greenery. Pool and Bar: 5/5 The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the stunning pool that overlooked the lush tropical rainforest. It served as a captivating oasis of serenity, and the swim-up bar was a delightful touch. The bar's inventive drinks, infused with local flavors, added a unique and refreshing twist to our poolside relaxation sessions. Sipping on these creative concoctions while taking in the mesmerizing views made for truly unforgettable moments. Staff and Service: 5/5 The staff at Padma Resort Ubud were not only professional but genuinely lovely, creating an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile enhanced our overall experience, making us feel truly cared for and valued as guests. Dining Experience: 5/5 The culinary offerings at the resort were a gastronomic delight. Each meal was a journey of flavors, showcasing the richness of Balinese cuisine. The combination of local ingredients and expert preparation resulted in dishes that were not only delicious but also a testament to the resort's commitment to providing a memorable dining experience. Accommodation: 5/5 Our room was a sanctuary of luxury and comfort. Spacious and elegantly designed, it surpassed our expectations. The oversized bathroom added a touch of opulence, creating a perfect retreat after a day of exploration.

The resort facilities are great, the location is far from any city center, it’s great for travelers who want just to relax inside the hotel

Everything was great except one incident at the pool restaurant, My wife and I went for swim at the pool then ordered two juice drinks. As we were swimming, we didn’t carry the wallet with us, the lady who got the bill for us asked for the room number to add the bill on our account, she returned back and said sorry you have to pay either by cash or card. I had to sent my wife to the room to bring my wallet and I had to wait nearby so they can secure that my wife will come back with the wallet. That’s definitely gave us a feeling of being considered as untrustworthy.

- staff are wonderful - lots of free activities provided by the hotel ( yoga, outdoor biking etc) - pool area is nice - breakfast was great - hotel restaurants are nice - temperature here is much cooler than other parts of Bali. If you hate the heat but wanna come to Bali this place is perfect! Their heated pool goes well with the temperature as it can be a bit cold when the sun is gone.

-I booked this hotel mainly because the view looks amazing. But We probably got the worse room regarding it. We got the very corner room at the ground floor. Our balcony garden view was literally block by all the bushes. Room itself was nice but we don’t have much of a view. So we spent most of our time at the pool side which we can actually see the view. So if you’re booking this hotel for its mountain view make sure you request a room that’s NOT at the corner of ground floor. - it can get pretty cold at nice or super early in the morning. Do bring a small cardigan with you ( just an advise not complaining. We do love the breeze)

You have everything you need in this hotel. Best breakfast buffet I‘ve ever been, I recommend getting there early also to witness the sunrise. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food were in very good quality.

A Perfect Retreat in the Heart of Nature I loved every part of my stay at Padma Resort Ubud. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding greenery. Housekeeping services were provided twice a day, which kept everything spotless and comfortable. The staff are incredibly warm, helpful, and truly go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The level of hospitality is exceptional from check-in to departure, everything felt seamless and personalized. What makes this place truly special is the lush greenery that surrounds the entire resort. It has such a positive effect on your mood and makes the whole experience incredibly peaceful. The infinity pool is stunning and always calm, perfect for relaxing or enjoying the view. The spa was a highlight of my stay beautifully designed, serene, and run by professional massage therapists who really know what they’re doing. It’s a perfect place for detox and unwinding. Lastly, it’s an ideal spot for families with children—quiet, safe, and filled with nature. I highly recommend Padma Ubud for anyone looking to recharge and reconnect with peace and beauty. Staff were very thoughtful they brought a small cake for my daughter first birthday, thank you so much 🙏

As for a couple of minor points: the breakfast could have been more diverse, especially with some Mediterranean options that many guests might find familiar and enjoyable. It was still good, but a bit more variety would have been a welcome touch. Also, the bed mattress was a bit too soft for my preference. As someone who has occasional back pain, I found it less than ideal, though still acceptable for a few nights. That said, none of these things took away from the overall experience. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and eager to return.

Our stay at Padma was truly unforgettable. We brought my mother-in-law for a 5-night getaway, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for her love of nature. The beautifully maintained private gardens and riverside setting felt like a tropical sanctuary, filled with lush, exotic plants—and the animals were such a delightful bonus! One of my favourite parts of the trip was our daily ritual: waking up, strolling through the serene grounds to visit the animals, breathing in the fresh air, and finishing with a swim in the pool overlooking the jungle. Breakfast was a highlight too—Juliano and the rest of the team greeted us with warm smiles and kindly accommodated our vegan diet with chia pudding, smoothie bowls, and scrambled tofu with avo on toast. We also joined a village bike tour and tried our hand at a canang-making class, which made the experience even more special. Thank you for the memories—we’ll treasure this trip always.

Gym was ok.

Everything here was top notch. Cleanliness, the staff, the indoor and outdoor activities, the kids club.... I have really nothing to complain about. I wish I had stayed longer. Made at aerial yoga was amazing, Ronald at archery was amazing, EMI at the spa was a so good that I wish I could bring her back with me lol. The bamboo nest, the whole trail going down to the river, the bamboo bridge, was really fun. My son loved feeding the animals and fishing and the agroforestry. Despite being so cold the pool was cozy and temperature controlled and really really clean.

There is nothing I could complain about

Everything was absolutely amazing, starting with the people who were so welcoming. The pool is stunning as promised with breathtaking views of the jungle. The breakfast is one of the best we have had (ever) with fresh products including home made sourdough selections and plenty of choices for everyone. We also went on one of the excursion planned by the hotel, both the driver and the guide were amazing and we had a fantastic time despite of the rain. They have an animal garden where the kids can feed the goats and cows. They also have times during the day were the kids can feed the hundred Coi carps. The SPA is also gorgeous with very nice treatment options.

Nothing, everything was amazing.

Everything was just amazing! Apart from the resort, which was absolutely stunning and the facilities, what really stood out was the fantastic staff and the human touch, which made a huge difference and stood out from other hotels and resorts. Their service was always with a genuine smile, and they were ever ready to assist and go over and above to help. The food was absolutely delicious. The buffet was amazing and had an amazing mix of cuisines. They also catered to our specific requests apart from the buffet. It was so nice to meet the executive chef who walked around the restaurant chatting with guests, yet again making you feel special and welcome. We loved our room and the views were fantastic! The swimming pool and the pool bar was awesome! The spa facilities were great and the massage was excellent! Will definitely be back!

The fact that we booked for just 3 days...would have loved to stay longer :-(

I have travelled to resorts all over the world. This resort was exceptional in every sense. Many times the pictures look better than what you see in person. Yet I truly have to say that the resort is far better than any of the pictures. Don’t think twice. Book this place. It will be incredibly memorable. It feels like a sanctuary in the middle of the jungle. Just incredible. You can walk down to the river through the jungle as well. What a great experience.

Thursday’s seem to be a day where the staff change over. The service was exceptional, and the staff remember your name. However on Thursday’s, it seems that many staff rotate out for time off. The staff that rotate in aren’t nearly as well trained. The only day of average food was on that day.
