We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. In terms of surroundings, it was probably one of the best – with beautiful landscapes, rice fields perfect for walking, and the charming atmosphere of a Balinese village. I would definitely recommend visiting, but only for one or two days at most. In the evenings, the animals, amphibians, and insects become incredibly loud. Imagine the loudest you think they could be – and then even louder. At night, it’s like a full orchestra, which can make it difficult to fall asleep if you’re not used to such sounds. That said, I still recommend staying here at least once. The canopy bed is especially beautiful and adds to the charm. It’s not really a four-star hotel, but rather a simple house – tastefully decorated, with very friendly staff who are always eager to help. My only suggestion for improvement would be to clean the house and its surroundings more regularly, as the outdoor area was quite dirty. It didn’t bother us personally, but it would certainly make the stay even more pleasant. The stuff at the hotel was really very friendly!!! Thanks a lot

Spacious villa with nice bathroom in the middle of quiet rice fields with very nice view. The hotel is not too far from Ubud and one can explore Tegallalang-area from there very well. Service incl. Wellness offers were good and staff was helpful. Indonesian meals have been delicious and breakfast was always served on time. Free water was provided as well as pick up services and minibar. I understand some people complain about the sounds at night from small animals living in the area, like birds or many frogs, but I found that quite calming and enjoyed them being around.

Sure it is not too easy to keep a wooden house clean, so it wasn't as clean as I wished after room service, also not the bathroom floor. The mosquito-net over the bed had some dark stains, toilet paper wasn't refilled and one of the sockets had something stuck inside so it wasn't able to be used. Wifi had weak signal and TV was not able to get Netflix running due to the connection, I guess. I personally didn't like the American style meals on the menu, regional food was much better.

What a great way to enjoy the rice fields in peace and more privacy. Sunset was a treat to watch with swifts and bats coming out to feed. Love their take on a 'rumah kampung' with modern amenities. They had really good hot water, so it was perfect for a relaxing soak in the bath. There is also a bigger restaurant we can walk to if we wanted a change in menu.

We had a little trouble getting there. We followed Waze and it took us through an alternative small dirt road. Another time at night we went into the wrong turn and went along another very small road. Luckily locals are friendly in helping us find the way.

The view is amazing. I could just sit in the veranda and literally do nothing but enjoying the view. Friendly staffs and they gave us early check-in which was nice.

Bathroom very smelly, even with the exhaust fan turned on the whole day. Could be not cleaned thoroughly or just bad ventilation and drainage. There's no handsoap and hand towel. The room maybe a bit dusty or it's the mosquito net needs changing, me and my friend kept sneezing during our stay (dust allergy). Fortunately we only stayed for 1 night. Foods were just ok.

Staying here was a one in a lifetime experience. The calmness and natural beauty surrounding the premises are incomparable. We wanted to stay at a hotel were we would get a real Balinese feeling and experience and we definitely got that. Everyday waking up there and seeing the rice fields around and hearing the water cascading from the pools was incredible. The staff is super friendly and try to accommodate every request. If they make mistakes they apologise and try to work on it to avoid the same mistake again. The for is delicious, we ate there the best chicken satay compared to many other places in Bali were we ordered the same. They make amazing natural juices and cocktails with 'Arak' (their local alcohol). Best experience ever!

It is obvious that by staying in the middle of the jungle and rice fields there will be insects, so insects should be expected! (We were not supper happy about it but understood is part of it). The cleaning however can be improved. Is not that the rooms are dirty, they are fairly clean, but they don't use adequate products to help keep insects away and sometimes they miss important things like changing towels or taking away garbage from bins. We discussed this with them, though, and saw a massive improvement on this issue over the days.

Beautiful bungalows in the middle of the rice fields. We were staying in one of the two double room bungalows with private pool. Two additional pools in the commons. A great location out of busy Ubud in a perfect location for a visit in the temples of Tampa Skiring, Ubud, Tangalalang and even north to Mount Batur. Staff is incredibly friendly always there to help. At 200m do not miss the Sebatu Holy Water Spring.

Some staff are still in training. This means it is not always perfect. But their kindness and willingness to learn means this will improve soon.

The villa is a little far from the city.

We stayed five days, and it was amazing. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They rent scooters, so it is really easy to explore Sebatu, ubud, or other places around. They cleaned the room every day. The pools and all areas were clean. They do not have alway available all the dishes of the menu, but it is not a problem due to still pently options to choose from. The staff made our stay very comfortable. Thank you!!

Super quiet surroundings, in the middle of the rice fields, exactly what we wanted. Lovely pools, big rooms with comfy beds and lovely verandas. Not much to do in the vicinity, we spent one afternoon and night here and it felt like a right amount of time for this location. Close to Tegalalang rice fields and to the Elephant park.

Service and food were not really matching the luxurious setting. They were ok though.

The surrounding of the hotel with rice fields all around was just so stunning. The view was breathtaking, serene and very peaceful. Breakfast was really good. The eggs were cooked as requested (medium), it was perfect. Presented really nicely. Perhaps the other accompaniments (bacon, sausage and potatoes) could be served hot, too. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Perhaps could put hand soap/liquid soap by the basin. Also, the room is really dark, need to have natural light coming in during the day.
