Our highly anticipated vacation in Bali at Alaya Resorts Ubud exceeded all expectations, delivering an exceptional experience in every aspect. Undoubtedly, this ranks among the best experiences we've ever had. The service provided by Alaya Resorts Bali is truly unmatched. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every moment of our stay was met with warmth and pampering. From a thoughtful upgrade to a surprise birthday celebration, the team's attention to detail and genuine care made us feel truly special. Their sweetness, friendliness, and politeness created an atmosphere of happiness and comfort throughout our stay. The aesthetics of the resort are captivating, immersing guests in the rich Balinese culture. Our room was stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable stay. However, what truly distinguishes Alaya Resorts Bali is its exceptional dining experience. The culinary offerings are beyond compare. As avid food enthusiasts, we savored every bite of the Balinese specialties offered at the brasserie. Opting for a breakfast-included package proved to be a brilliant decision, with a wide array of breakfast options replenishing us after days of exploration. Whether indulging in traditional Balinese dishes or international cuisine, each meal was a delightful revelation, meticulously crafted to perfection. Situated in one of the prime locations in Ubud, the resort provided easy access to explore different places in the area. Alaya Resorts Bali comes highly recommended. With its combination of outstanding service and unparalleled dining experiences, it's a destination that truly embodies the beauty and hospitality of Bali.

A lovely resort right in the middle of Ubud making it easy to go out for meals, entertainment, shopping... The rooms were well fitted out and had high quality toiletries. We stayed in a room on the third floor which had a great view overlooking the pool and gardens. Breakfast was a buffet style with optional orders (eggs etc). Being set back from the road there was no noise as I have experienced in other central Ubud hotels. Our booking included a Balinese massage in the spa which was a nice experience (though you can get the same massage for a fraction of the price out in town). The staff were always friendly and exceptionally helpful.

For a five star hotel the rooms were fairly small. The odd design of the bathroom and toilet being within the main room would not suit some (you have to be very comfortable with the people you are sharing a room with!) One thing that could definitely be improved for accessibility is installing a lift as there wasn't one in our wing. My mother has hip problems and found the stairs a challenge. The pool is pleasant, but not as big as it looks in the pictures.

We love staying at the Alaya resort, the staff is very nice and welcoming as all the people in Bali. They make events during the night, we enjoyed the Balinese tradicional dance dinner and the food in general. I loved the mango tartare:) The pool area is very beautiful with a view to the rice fields.

A coulple of things to improve, the AC are a maybe old and made a bit of noise during the night, they could also change the protection of the pool beds, they look old and dirty. Other than that the place is peaceful and away from the noisy city center.

the most friendly, attentive staff. couldn’t do enough for us. absolutely stunning grounds, right in the heart of ubud but still tranquil and away from the crowds. a true oasis. came with my mum and the facilities and overall vibe of the place was exactly what we both needed

shower didn’t work too well, the head needed a bit of a clean as the spray wasn’t equal. breakfast was ok but I think for a 5* could have been improved - although nice that barista style coffee was included in price not just drip coffee. but other than that can’t fault it!!! just fabulous. if you stay in ubud make it here!

Review Alaya We stayed at the Alaya Resort to start off our 3 week vacation in Indonesia. And our experience with them couldn't have impressed us more. The whole team is so pleased to serve our every needs and requests and made our stay so warm, and welcoming. Besides the gorgeous property and sightings, the location is perfect with everything you would need. The supermarket is around the corner with an ATM for international creditcards, souvernirshops at walking distance and great facilities in and around the resort. The spa was amazing! The massagetherapists were very knowledgable and very skilled. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, as they daily added different things to their menu. The staff is kind, engaging and their costumer service is on point every time, even with our special requests regarding the birthday of my sister. You do have to consider that the traffic is jammed at almost every hour of the day so traveling by car will take longer than expected. We loved it here, and we hope to visit again someday!

There is nothing we did not like! We honestly liked everything about Alaya Resort and will recommend this resort to everyone who will travel to Ubud! The hotels and resorts in Europe can really learn a lot from your hospitality!

Conveniently located in the heart of Ubud, rooms are very comfortable and super clean, the staff will go beyond their normal routine to make sure you have a great stay and experience overall

Breakfast didn’t have a great variety compared to other hotels of the same range and didn’t live up to my expectations, but this is a personal view that should not be a deterrent. Traffic in the area is a lot worse than anyone would expect, so avoid coming in/out of the hotel during peak hours, meaning leaving the establishment before 07:00 and returning after 22:00

Our family of five (two adults and three teenagers) recently stayed at Alaya Resort, and it ended up being our favorite hotel in Bali (for reference we also stayed at Courtyard Seminyak and Hyatt Regency Sanur also great stays). We were looking for something that offered the feel of a villa with the convenience of a hotel—full staff, gym, and a central location—and Alaya delivered on all fronts. The rooms were uniquely designed, and ours overlooked the pool with a great view of the surrounding rainforest. We had two adjoining rooms—one with a king bed and the other with two twins, plus an extra bed added for our third child—which worked perfectly for our family. Service was consistently friendly and welcoming, and the hotel restaurant was excellent. For the quality and location, the value for money was outstanding. Our only regret was not staying longer. The location was another plus - just a short walk to the Monkey Forest and surrounded by some of our favorite restaurants in Ubud. We didn’t opt for the included breakfast, but it was easy to grab a bite at one of the nearby spots or downstairs at the hotel. Also next door to a nice convenience store (Coco Mart) so easy to grab snacks, money from ATM, etc).

My room was overlooking the beautiful gardens and pools with a spacious balcony with a table and chairs and small couch. The room was also very spacious and included everything you need, from a very comfortable bed & plenty of wardrobe space to a walk in shower and great bath. Breakfast was very good with a huge choice all the staff were exceptional making you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in central Ubud with great access to everything, despite its central location the hotel remains a haven of peace and tranquility.
