The grounds were huge, lovely gardens. The rooms were older style and big, great balconies. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The is right next door to the laneway into The Yoga Barn and they are putting a back gate in that will give you direct access. Close to so many restaurants but super quiet because of the size of the grounds. Value for money.

I loved my time at Puri Padi - I had previously stayed in a few other places, and this was by far the best. The vibe was great, the view from my balcony (which is another big plus) was the manicured grounds - spectacular. The birds that came into the grounds were lovely to watch and experience. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and very efficient. The pool got better and better each day.... Breakfast was simple, but with so many places to choose from, I chose to eat out most of the time. I was upgraded by booking.com and it really made my stay even more special.... so upgrade if you can... even for a couple of nights. There was no safe in the rooms, but that didn't bother me as I had a lock on my suitcase and I stored valuables there. Interconnecting rooms can be less quiet, but a great bonus for families with kids. I will definitely be back to stay.

The hotel is so quiet but at prime location. 2 minutes walk to yoga barn, or basically just a wall apart. The room is big and love the balcony. It was a well build hotel with marble floor and bathroom worktop. The wood carving on the doors are beautiful.

The hotel is looking tired especially the bathroom. However it is so well build, I hope they make a good upgrade in future without throwing away the traditional features.

The room had some real Balinese charm and the pool was really beautiful. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The location is really good, loads of good restaurants are walking distance, the yoga barn is just next door and the monkey forest is a short walk away.

The pool needs a little more attention in terms of cleaning and it would be nice if there were pool towels.

A silent neighbourhood with lots of flowers&trees in the garden. We woke up with dove's and other bird's songs in the morning. Very near to the monkey forest and also to the Ubud center/the main palace by foot. A basic but tastefull breakfast. The staff was friendly &helpfull and helped us to find proper driver for our daily trips. Hotel spa was good as well. Note: bathrooms may need some renovation.

The lovely gardens and the location The staff were very helpful and willing to help with any problems . Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.Pool was also lovely to cool off in the heat. Nice to have balcony for a private space

No hairdryer in room but could be borrowed from reception and safe also only available at reception . WiFi was difficult to access but good from reception area

This is a beautiful property with old Bali vibes set back from the busy road and right next door to Yoga Barn. All the staff, and especially Adi and Made, are incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds have very pretty, well maintained landscaping and a nice big pool. There is daily housekeeping and no hint of mold or mustiness.

The property is dated and some rooms have better AC than others, but it is a great value for the price.

Great vibe to the room, and the terrace was beautiful with carved wooden doorway, artwork and lovely garden view. Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, pleasant and kind. The lobby is historic and beautiful, very traditional. Excellent location from which to explore. Pool in pleasant surroundings.

Lighting and layout of the bathroom could have been better, but everything was functional.

The gardens and general Bali was ambience was a delight.

Everything was great and authentic - I would have had breakfast but you didn’t have any fresh coffee - I would recommend you buy a coffee filter to offer fresh coffee for breakfast. This is only feedback and not a complaint as I loved my stay.

Amazing location (prime spot) and super nice staff. Ubud has really gone up a few levels nowadays. Couldn’t fault the hotel for balance of price and level of amenities. Would definitely stay there again, our three kids loved it too.

Some may find it older style but we love that about Balinese style hotels.
