This hotel is in an amazing location, very close to the Monkey Forest. You can walk to all the attractions in Ubud Center. It also has many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. I really don't know why the overall Booking and Google reviews are not higher. It's a great option for this price range (and I checked several places). It was very clean with housekeeping every day. The balcony is great, and the monkeys came visiting some days. The pool is amazing, and it is a great size. It also has a restaurant attaches with good options and cheap for the location. I also recommend grabbing a coffee in front at the Monkey Cave Espresso Ubud. The best cappuccino!

I chose the studio option. However, it only means more space in the bedroom and a sink. Ot didn't have any cutlery or kitchen utensils (you can ask the staff). Anyways, it was not a problem for me because I didn't cook at all. Just so future guests are aware. It's exactly like the pictures.the bedroom is very comfortable, big and modern.

I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel at first because of some of the past reviews, especially about the slow wifi (which is super important for me bc I need to work on my laptop most of the day) and concerns about cleanliness. Since this hotel is located right in the very center and I didn’t have a lot of other good options, I decided to give it a go. Honestly, I am so GLAD I DID!! I originally booked for just one night but ended up extending my stay bc I loved it so much. From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I asked them right away about the wifi, and they told me they had recently upgraded it and fixed the previous issues. I checked it myself from my room, and it worked perfectly. Fast and stable connection, even for video calls and big file uploads. Huge relief.. The room was very clean, and they cleaned it every single day during my stay. It felt fresh and very well maintained. The pool was also wonderful, really clean and inviting, and the garden around it was so green and beautiful. It made the whole place feel peaceful even though it is right in the center of the city. Overall, I had a great experience here. I’m so happy I decided to give it a try. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. THANKS TEAM🙏♥️

I stayed 11 nights and absolutely loved Grand Sehati. I had a ground floor room with a little bridge from the balcony to the pool, which was a great touch. The room is clean and has good amenities, but the paint and edges are a little rough - to be expected for the price. I didn’t notice after the first day at all. The pool is excellent and well maintained. The property faces east meaning your balcony and the pool get all the beautiful morning and midday sun. Daily room clean left everything spotless. WiFi was consistently great. The staff are all lovely and helpful.

The restaurant had just started renovations (scheduled to end at end of July) so no breakfast available. However no noise travelled to the rooms/pools and there are 5+ options for breakfast within 50 metres walk, so it was no big deal.

The staff is excellent, always with a smile and ready to serve us with the greatest enthusiasm. The restaurant is also very good, both the food and the service. The hotel is located in a very central area with easy access to the center, the shops and the monkey forest.

The bathroom needs some work. The poor lighting meant that I had to put the lamp in the room over the sink so I could take out and clean my contact lenses and shave. The room is also quite dark. The overall lighting and fixtures in the bathroom need to be improved. That's the only thing we didn't like.

Grand sehati and spa, had an excellent foot massage at a very reasonable price. The room was fantastic and provided us with a special arrangement of towels and fresh flower petals for our anniversary as requested. The service was wonderful. The room was huge, with a giant and comfy bed. The room was cleaned each day and the pool facilities were also good. The hotel is in a very convenient location for the monkey forest and some amazing restaurants in very easy walking distance. Some very good markets in walking distance too. Plenty of options to see things in the area.

Unfortunately one night other guests in the pool at 1am were very loud, however we didn’t have any issues our other nights.

The hotel is very central to everything! It's next door to some amazing restaurants, a short stroll away to the Monkey Forest and The Yoga Barn (for those who are into yoga). The pool was pleasant and clean but the water was not heated so it was a bit chilly to swim in. The rooms were clean enough (but not perfect) with fresh bedsheets. The beds were quite hard. Overall it's a good choice for those who want to be central to everything and not break the bank.

Due to booking issues, we had to change rooms. The first room was quite spacious but the second room was crammed and smelled of mould. In both rooms, there were signs of water infiltrations and the walls and ceilings had visible stains. It could do with some maintenance

The location was perfect for getting to everything in Ubud, including the Monkey Forrest, The Markets ( a longer walk) Restaurants and the Yoga Barn was only walking distance. There was a day spa right down stairs. The hotel was fairly quiet however there is traffic until quite late in the evening. Rooms were quite sound proof if you shut the door. I travelled alone & met up with friends in Ubud. Felt very safe there.

The combination for my safe malfunctioned which meant I have no safe deposit box for my valuables. I was told this would be fixed but that did not happen. You cant leave the door open to your balcony in the morning as the monkeys are all over the roofs and like to explore your room if you let them! Some of them are very large too!

The staff were wonderful, very obliging and always greeted us warmly We found the mattresses very hard and asked about moving to a different room but due to the hotel being fully booked couldn't. The lovely manager suggested adding extra doonas on top of the mattress to hopefully make it more comfortable. This was done immediately and certainly made sleeping alot easier. The next day he found us to enquire how we were and advised us that he had passed our feedback on to his boss. They will start changing the mattresses for a less hard one. Problem solved! The pool area was beautiful, very lush and green and very well kept. The restaurant and staff were lovely. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

the location was fantastic, walking distance to so many restaurants and only a 7 minute walk to yoga barn. it was attached to a cafe and i only tried the mie goreng there and it was good. staff was very friendly. the room was large and had all the necessities, i had a very comfortable stay.

the wifi was terrible from my room, and my phone couldn't get service either so i couldn't even connect to the whatsapp provided by reception to ask for help. there was mould/stains on the bedroom ceiling.
