I cannot say enough about this accommodation. Amazing location - right in the heart of Ubud. It's off the main street and it's quiet. Easy to walk everywhere. The laneway is quite narrow so it's easier to get a taxi/pick up from the main street which is super easy. Opposite the accommodation is an amazing massage place - strongly recommended. Down the street is a laundry or you can get the accommodation to organise it for you. It's cheap and means you can pick up from reception at a time that suits you. A short walk is a supermarket and next door is a mini mart with the basics. There are great restaurants and bars a short walk away. We walked EVERYWHERE. The accommodation was amazing. Comfortable beds, beautiful room, lush grounds, stunning views, gorgeous pool, lovely staff. Can't say enough. Just stay here. You won't regret it! I would definitely stay here again.

It didn't bother us but just be aware that the reception staff are not always at the front desk. They are busy working around the place, so sometimes you need to be a little flexible or patient. It's such a minor issue and shouldn't deter you from staying there. The staff were so lovely.

One of a kind place in Ubud. It’s close to the main road but yet quite and hidden. Located like on the private property, in a temple. Amazing energy! And the people! Even though I was travelling by myself, they took care of me as a family. I loved my room and the view to the pool. Breakfast was also delicious.

Would love to stay longer

I was a little hesitant to write a review because I’d like to keep this little oasis a secret! It is perfectly located away from the noisy main street but is within easy walking distance to Monkey Forest, the Ubud Palace, Ubud markets, a well stocked supermarket and the myriad of cafes and restaurants that line the main street. Staff were always very helpful. Breakfast was provided daily between 0730 and 1100 and there was plenty of food available and a good selection. Tea and coffee are also available. I had mentioned I was vegan and staff provided me with a vegan breakfast every morning without any problems. Breakfast is served in a beautiful under cover area next to the pool and only once did we find there were no tables available so just went back to our villa where we could see the breakfast area and returned when a few people had left. The pool was always sparkling clean and pool towels were provided. Bottled water is also provided every day. The room we had was big enough for two of us and the shower had plenty of pressure with hot and cold water. I rarely used any hot water as the cold water was perfect for me. The airconditioner worked incredibly well and was not noisy at all. A television is available but note all the stations are in Indonesian so only being English speakers we never watched it, preferring to sit outside on our balcony and at times watching monkeys playing in the trees beyond the pool. We also had a small bar sized refrigerator which was great for keeping cold drinks in. There is also an electric kettle and a hairdryer provided. I am already planning my return trip and will definitely be staying here again. I will even alter my holiday dates if I have to.

My only tiny complaint is that there was black mould on the pavers at the bottom of our villa stairs which made them very slippery after rain.

The location was perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but within easy walking distance of nice restaurants, spa and shops. The setting is beautiful with well maintained gardens and a refreshing pool. A relaxing start to the day with a perfectly adequate breakfast served poolside.

Not being in the ground floor. Lugging suitcases up stairs were difficult.

The location. The pool. The room and balcony.

Having stayed here on my last 2 trips before Covid I was underwhelmed this time by lack of staff on the premises. Being here for 10 days I witnessed new guests arriving with no one to check them in, they would have to sit and wait until someone walked by and they could get their attention. Bed was made daily for the 10 days but no fresh sheets or towels in that time. Breakfast used to be standard but this time it was dismal and I didn’t bother. Really felt that staff when you spotted them were glued to their personal phones and didn’t have the same care as previously.

Stunning family compound with gardens, carvings, statues and beautiful surrounds, the location is great as a quiet lane off the Main Street and access to many restaurants. The breakfast was a good size incl pancakes & an egg dish. The pool was great too. I was upgraded to a kitchette room I realised after checking in but would have preferred my booked room overlooking the pool for the views and the balcony chairs- I didn’t have a view and it was dark- I prefer the lighter rooms with a vista. A few issues- there was a lot of hair in the shower drain, clearly it wasn’t cleaned, one towel was clean, one was clearly used, stained and smelly, I rushed my nice breakfast as I was being eaten alive by mosquitos which I didn’t expect at 9am. Also there is contraction right next door so I was glad it was just a one night stay- these small things made it less value for the price. It was a shame they used bottled water rather than refillable water station.

Construction noise, mosquitos at breakfast, some cleaning issues, mattress needs replacing, wasn’t put in the type of room I booked.

I honestly cannot fault this accommodation. The location is excellent, you are less than 5min stroll to pharmacy, supermarket (not mini mart only), several small shops, and a huge range of options of restaurants, most of which extremely well rated. Monkey forest is also 5min so you can knock down some touristic activities off of your list. The breakfast is fairly decent, with a good portion and despite being simple, it certainly does the job. Special mention for the green banana pancake, a nice tasty breakfast treat. The staff if also super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean and well kept. The pool is also great, and the water dripping from the “waterfall like” thing in the pool is very relaxing. I am only not giving it a 10 because I think I didn’t pay for a 10, as a 10 comes with a price. However, value for money, this property is certainly a 10. Would stay again anytime. In fact, I hope to stay again.

Can’t really fault it. The fact that it is in an alley does make a tiny hassle to sling your luggage from the taxi, but it is such a short distance that it doesn’t affect the overall perception from the place.

The view from the rooms is peak Ubud. The swimming pool is one of the best I have seen. Rooms are really clean and have a royale vibe. The location being in an alley which looked a hassle to me is actually great because you get to stay in the best part of Ubud and still enjoy the peace away from the main streets. The breakfast portion is small. You can choose between eggs, sandwich and a jaffle (a Balinese version of bread toast). They also give you a drink, banana crepe and fruit plate along with your choice of main. I believe the jaffle was not adequate. A single jaffle as a main is way to less and not sufficient even for my 5 year old. But everything was made fresh and is delicious. The staff is courteous and welcoming. A huge shout out to them for accepting my late date change request to reduce the number of nights. Refunded on my online paid booking. This is the true spirit of Bali - honesty, empathy and friendliness. Wont mind staying here again.

My first and foremost impression of this property wasn't good. As it was in an alley, I had to drag my big luggage bags for around 200m because cars dont go to the doorstep. Then at checkin there was nobody to take the luggage to rooms so I had to carry my 30 odd KG luggage up the stairs to 2nd floor. I understand it's a villa so all these things aren't really given
