Artini 2 Cottage really is a gem in Ubud. The location is fantastic. My two favourite things were enjoying the pool and the excellent service. Special acknowledgment to Katut, his friendliness and hospitable nature makes you feels so comfortable and welcomed as do the rest of the staff. Katut will check in with you to see if you are comfortable or need anything. There are a variety of rooms, which do differ. I was lucky to stay above the breakfast area overlooking the pool which made my stay really special. For those that love the trees and jungle feel there are rooms surrounded by gardens and trees as well. It is more traditional accomodation. Take mozzie repellant, there are a few! The staff will kindly assist you with any issues. I will be back and will recommend Artini 2 cottages to family and friends.

The first room I was in did not look like the photos advertised. I feel the owner should update the photos to be a true and honest reflection of the rooms. I was moved rooms due to mosquitoes and preferred my second room.

The gardens and pool were amazing, spent all day lounging by the pool. The rooms are spacious, and breakfast was good, location was also perfect. Would highly reccomend.

Bathroom lighting wasn't great but a pretty minor issue.

The breakfast menu needs more variety. I struggled to find something I liked that was not egg. I would not have breakfast incorporated if I stayed again. I hate saying anything negative. All my reviews are positive, but I felt I must address this problem. Dust coated in wardrobe shelf corners, serious dust!! Definitely not wiped out. Needed a damp cloth to clean. Wooden wardrobe doors were a latticed pattern. The dust was coated in the little patterned holes. The room was always cleaned but definitely staff are not using a cloth over shelving. This dust has just been accumulating. If one was allergic to dust, they would have a serious problem staying in the room.

The staff were outstanding, they were friendly, efficient and could not do enough for us. Good breakfasts which were well presented with care. Excellent location in the centre of town but it provided a little oasis of calm just off the Main Street. Pool was superb with plenty of sun beds. The whole place was well maintained and due to a storm earlier in the year they were very professionally replacing the paving around the property to a very high standard. Even the background music was delightful.

Our cottage was a bit dark as it only had one window and dark furnishings but that was the location of the cottage not a fault of the hotel.

It was a shame there was no notification that the swimming pool was out of order due to stormy rains. Ketut, who greeted us with the news gave us an option to swim at their sister hotel. Would’ve preferred they transfer our accommodation as we so looked forward to a swim everyday. However, Ketut and his team made us feel very comfortable. The construction workers were ever so quiet getting the structure around the pool. The ladies at the restaurant were always smiling and laughing and made an awesome farmers breakfast. We would definitely come back as it’s right outside the main streets of Ubud.

No issues except not knowing the pool was out of action and should’ve transferred our accommodation to their sister hotel but again an amazing place.

The welcoming staff were amazing! They showed us around, answered questions, and were helpful whenever we needed them. The room and other facilities were clean and spacious. The pool is beautiful and so is the area in general!

I rated a 9 only because of the monkeys! I was doing yoga on the porch one morning when a monkey interrupted me so I ran inside of the room, not thinking to grab my belongings. The monkey took my AirPods and water bottle which I later got back but it was a bit scary to see how it saw me and chased towards me with teeth showing. A worker soon came with branches to scare the monkeys away. This isn’t anything against the hotel - just be mindful of your belongings when using outdoors and always use the monkey locks on your bedroom door - just in case!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, great balcony with chairs for sitting. Artini is tucked away so is quite but only seconds walk to restaurants, shops & supermarket. This is the third time I have stayed at Artini. My room was upstairs which I thought might be a problem as the stairs are steep but I actually loved being on the top floor. The view was beautiful & I didn't have anyone staying above me. So noise wasn't a problem.i really enjoyed my stay here. ♡♡♡

When I checked in staff member was helpful but not necessarily friendly. The desk was often without a staff member so asking questions & getting services was a little tricky. Not bad but not amazing either. The bathroom needs a revamp. If you love a bath you are going to enjoy it immensely. I unfortunately like to shower & this wasn't very comfortable. And difficult to not get water on the floor. A hair dryer would be helpful. They are super cheap to purchase these days so I was surprised one wasn't included.

From the pick up to the moment we arrived everything was exceptional! Yana at reception and all staff treated us so well! Every morning they welcomed each guest by name! The hotel is beyond what we expected, spacey clean well thought out rooms fridge & water included, pool is perfect and the grounds are just lovely. Very peaceful vibe throughout. Breakfast was a hit with my daughter! The location is spot on…5minute walk in one direction you have the monkey forest and 5minutes the other direction you have rows of restaurants and shops leading up to ubud market. Wish we had booked for longer!

Right in the middle of frantic Ubud is this calm spacious quiet oasis. Whilst it’s not 5 star it’s very comfortable, aesthetically pleasing (lovely well tended grounds and villas), relaxing and very well located for other sightseeing and excursions. Many of the staff don’t speak English but the host guy was lovely and helpful.

The cafe/restaurant by the pool is rudimentary at best and basically not licenced (except for Bintang). There is plenty to eat and drink nearby outside the hotel but don’t expect extensive and delicious room service options. The breakfast is pretty plain.
